We were a party of 9 family members enjoying a weekend in Ennis and had a wonderful meal at the Town Hall Restaurant. Paulina and Rebecca dealt with an overturned wine glass by one of our group, very quickly and efficiently, with no fuss, offering a fresh meal and wine. Very impressed with their professionalism. Goodluck to both of them and we will be back their if we do visit Ennis.

This hotel has everything you need without leaving. Spend time in the lobby reading or outside in the garden area relaxing. Hungry or need a drink go to the pub. Want something upscale make reservations at the restaurant. Breakfast made to order? sure! We did all of this while at the Old Ground Hotel. PLUS there is onsite, free parking. Our room was large and the bathroom was huge too. This place gives off old money vibes and made us feel great! There was road construction going on outside and walking around did not feel safe, comfortable or enjoyable. So I am glad the hotel had so much to offer!

We were part of a tour, thankfully only staying one night at the Old Grand in Ennis. All paid the same rate, but our top floor room 518 had no A/C or ventilation (the windows could be cracked open slightly at the top, blocked behind curtains) and was dreadfully hot, even with pleasant outdoors and cooler temperatures in hallway and throughout hotel. The windows were closed and drapes left open to let the full western sun heat the room. Most of our tour group had A/C. The hotel offered fans, but would not offer another room. A manager came up and tried unsuccessfully to open the fixed windows. He said we could spend night with room door propped completely open to the cooler hallway directly across from the elevator! I thought the room might cool during the night, but it did not. In fact, it was so hot in the morning that it was wilting just to pack up. Such a shame! This was otherwise a lovely hotel with excellent food. During warmer months, be sure to avoid 5th floor, at least room 518 if you want to be comfortable.

We visiting this hotel at the weekend. We were treated to an upgrade to the most beautiful suite. We have an amazing meal in the bar which had a great choice of wines too. Needless to say breakfast was lovely and plenty of choices. Staff were very friendly, nothing was to much trouble

We stayed two nights in the hotel while on a tour of Ireland. It has a great position in the centre of Ennis, with a large car park, and is well placed for visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. We had a Junior Suite on the top floor: it was a great bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable bed, an excellent modern bathroom and a small sitting room. We ate both evenings in the bistro, the Old Town Hall, a building of great character attached to the hotel and accessed through the bar. The food was excellent. Breakfasts were also really good, with a wide range of hot dishes. Service in this hotel was outstanding with the staff friendly, enthusiastic and efficient.

A group of us went for lunch we do this on a regular basis after a meeting we all go for lunch at the OG. Several times now bacon and cabbage has been served with pepper sauce should it not be with white sauce( parsley) Very basic would you put white sauce on beef
