We visiting this hotel at the weekend. We were treated to an upgrade to the most beautiful suite. We have an amazing meal in the bar which had a great choice of wines too. Needless to say breakfast was lovely and plenty of choices. Staff were very friendly, nothing was to much trouble

We stayed two nights in the hotel while on a tour of Ireland. It has a great position in the centre of Ennis, with a large car park, and is well placed for visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. We had a Junior Suite on the top floor: it was a great bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable bed, an excellent modern bathroom and a small sitting room. We ate both evenings in the bistro, the Old Town Hall, a building of great character attached to the hotel and accessed through the bar. The food was excellent. Breakfasts were also really good, with a wide range of hot dishes. Service in this hotel was outstanding with the staff friendly, enthusiastic and efficient.

A group of us went for lunch we do this on a regular basis after a meeting we all go for lunch at the OG. Several times now bacon and cabbage has been served with pepper sauce should it not be with white sauce( parsley) Very basic would you put white sauce on beef 🤔

Away with my wife for a midweek stay. Upgraded to Junior suite for extra comfort. On booking I was very specific about the room being a quiet one due to being a poor sleeper. On Arrival was given room 414 which was a strange room (Layout) but noted an extractor fan outside so asked for a change. Given room 228 at front of building. Church bells at 6am and 8am and roadworks within 100m. Also issues with heating where had to get a call out but not resolved. Facilities are great , bar nice and lively and bistro was excellent with great food and service. A great town and the hotel was located centrally. But big roadworks around as the streets are being pedestrianised. A nice stay but not as good as hoped due to the room and noise. Might be a while before I return....

Very comfortable hotel. No cookie-cutter rooms! Great breakfast, friendly and responsive staff. They also gave us recommendations of family-friendly places to hear live music. And there's a hotel cat! O.G. is an outdoor cat who adopted the hotel some years ago. She has a place to sleep and lounge just inside of the outer door which is still separate from the lobby by a second set of doors - so the overall hotel is still friendly for those with allergies. She's friendly (but too friendly) and soft. Our kids missed our own cat so it was a great welcome.
