Lough Erne Resort

Weather conditions prevented us having a planner day away golfing. Lough Erne resort facilitated our group at very short notice. The course as always was great and we got a very competitive deal.The staff in the restaurant were brilliant and the food was excellent.

Just back from a very good couple of days at Lough Erne. We had a nice rest, a very good Thai Contentment treatment at the Spa, excellent dinner in The Catelina and a lovely one hour Lough erne cruise with Bryan as our captain. Thoroughly recommend all of these.

We stayed in The Presidential Suite for one night. Very disappointing stay, expectations were high as this should be the best room in the hotel. The furniture is dated, coffee cup marks everywhere and some of the chairs were stained. The air conditioning was noisy and when questioned, the concierge said just switch it off, you might get a little hot! The complimentary mini bar is stocked for all the men out there, soft drinks, water and 4 bottles of beer, when I questioned the concierge about no wine or spirits being provided his reply was 'I know alot of women who drink beer'!! He said he would check and rang back to let me know he was right and the hotel did not provide small bottles of wine, hardly a difficult thin to provide in a 5 star hotel. I was unable to get any sleep due to a spotlight in the bedroom that would not switch off, had to remove the card at the door and use the flashlight on my phone to get back to bed. No kettle provided to make tea just a coffee machine which makes truly awful tea. No hairdryer in the room and no toiletries for the bath, bathrobes wrinkled. Breakfast the next morning was very average and the sausages tasted off, so couldn't finish my breakfast. The balcony in the Presidential Suite was very small with loose paving stones, felt very jealous of the people below who were able to sit out on their balcony and enjoy the sun. Overall the whole experience was very disappointing for what should be the best stay offered by the hotel has to offer and at a cost of almost £400 it is definitely not value for money Dolores Murphy

Most relaxing night away we have had in a long time. Staff couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Food was fantastic and the scenery at the hotel is breath taking.

This is a must for any golfer, the views on the course are spectacular, with every hole challenging. The hotel accommodation and facilities are second to none and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this resort for an ideal relaxing break away..

Nice overnight stay, we did the Boatyard Distillery tour so stayed over after. Had dinner in the bar, it was fine, not bad but not great. Breakfast ok, nice to order from a menu. Room really big, lovely and very comfortable apart from pillows. Spa area very nice but dated. Beware if doing the distillery tour - it’s 5 miles from hotel but was very hard to get a taxi (and estimated to cost £30-40 each way) and hotel don’t offer transport. Only two staff members serving dinner in the bar so they were very busy, front desk staff disinterested in feedback.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a real 5 star experience. The staff are delightful. The food was amazing and the walk was beautiful.The view from our room always does it for us. Stunnning . This is our third stay. We will be back again.

Great hotel. Sarah on reception was exceptional. Very helpful and patient. Great start to a good experience. Couldn't enjoy grounds, because the weather wasn't at all good.

The hotel is very impressive. The staff are very friendly and professional. The door man couldn’t have done any more for us. He showed us around the hotel, It was raining so he took us up to the Bar & Gill on the buggy. Very friendly man, wish I got his name. Overall, lovely stay, very friendly, polite and professional staff.
