Lough Erne Resort

Booked in for 1 night to attend Nathan Carter charity show. Quick check in. Room was 113 and the heat in the room was like a sauna. Windows only opened half an inch. Turned on Fan try cool it down. No lead in the coffee maker, rang housekeeping , call diverted to reception. Girl was dismissive that there was no lead in the coffee maker and i asked for extra pillows. 2 hrs later no one had arrived. On way to the show met housekeeping on the corridor and told her. She was v helpful took room number and said she would sort it out. We were told to go to show at 7 . Check in to the show was extremely slow., had to sit around waiting to be brought through at 8 pm. Dinner was served at 9, the food was lovely but we were v hungry as we had been waiting 2 hrs. Show was very good. Went back up to room after and the blast of heat was sickening. Curtains had been closed and fan turned off. About 2.15 woke up to the sound of staff chatting in car park to the front and car doors opening ,closing and then driving off. Surely the staff cars can be parked away from the front bedrooms to avoid this. Had an extremely disturbed sleep waking up extremely thirsty from the heat. For breakfast we were seated . Ordered the eggs benedict, it says takes 20 mins to prepare fresh and my sister ordered pancakes. We were eating our fruit when 5 mins later the cooked food arrived and put on table where there was very little room. Had to rush the fruit as i dislike food going cold . The eggs were perfect butway too much sauce smothered over. The crumpet did not taste fresh. Sister vould not finish pancakes as she said rubbery n tasteless. Dishes from fruit were not removed from table. No more tea offered. Had a muffin which was delicious but i hate looking at food left on plates on tables. On check out reception asked how was visit , sister told about heat and she had zero interest and said il pass it on. We most definitely will not be back and I struggle to give this hotel a 5 star rating. I have found staff in 3 star to be more attentive. Had a drink in the bar and bar staff were v attentive and polite.

Just returned from an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. This is an experience not to be missed. Stunning scenery, excellent facilities, amazing staff who were always helpful and attentive (especially Helen the DM who is an absolute asset by the way). Food was beautifully cooked and every area of the hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

An amazing venue, we were down for our wedding anniversary. Golf course was incredible, food on Catalina was delusions, service was quality as always

Stayed here last weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary after getting married here the year before. The staff were so attentive and lovely. We were upgraded to a lovely suite with a balcony, which meant we could really enjoy the beautiful weather. Food in the Catalina was beautiful. We can't wait to come back to our favourite place.

Stayed for one night but beautiful place but would go again if there was a deal on as it was expensive

Played golf on the fabulous Faldo course. Beforehand I ventured into the bar beside the pro shop for breakfast. No breakfast available but the lady that was in there organised food for me. A very polite and helpful lady, I didn't get her name. She also enquired how I got on after my round. Class all round. A special mention for Philip, in the same bar. A gentleman , very professional and cordial. He could not do more to make me feel welcome. Fantastic at his job and really a people person. Well done to both of ye.

Second time staying at the resort. Excellent standard of a hotel, exceptionally clean. Very professional & courteous reception staff. Both enjoyed a curry in The Grill Room. A lovely calm restful feeling about the hotel, with quiet areas to read and talk. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Lovely place to stay but the lodge suite would need to be modernised I feel. Staff, Spa, breakfast, quality of hotel all outstanding and a definite 5 🌟

Weather conditions prevented us having a planner day away golfing. Lough Erne resort facilitated our group at very short notice. The course as always was great and we got a very competitive deal.The staff in the restaurant were brilliant and the food was excellent.
