My wife and I drove to El Cielo Winery & Resort in our Rivian R1T. We were a bit nervous beforehand because we had never driven in Mexico with our EV, but it was extremely easy and El Cielo has several chargers on site. It's only about 60-90 minutes across the border, depending on traffic. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the service is impeccable, and the wines and wine pairings are absolutely delicious! I recommend the the vineyard tour, wine blending, and chocolate/wine pairing experiences. The whole Guadalupe Valley is beautiful, and there are many great restaurants in the valley, including some with great local craft beers, if you need a break from the delicious wines. Being from the SF Bay Area, I like to tell people that Valle de Guadalupe is like the Napa Valley of Mexico, but better! It's certainly a bit more rustic and less pretentious, but the wines are just as good. Also, especially at El Cielo you're much more likely to meet very expert sommeliers and experience guides than in Napa. Napa has so many tourists now that you typically don't get to meet the true experts unless you're a celebrity.
