Kamer was op zich goed, met een balkonnetje. Wij hadden echter kamer 2. Die kamer ligt direct naast de keuken. Slechts gescheiden door een muurtje. En dat is te horen! Een wekker zetten was niet nodig, we werden ‘s morgens gewekt door het lawaai uit de keuken. Vooral het trekken aan de rol met plastic die aande muur in de keuken was bevestigd, gierde bij ons door de kamer. En dat gebeurde tientallen keren!

De kamer was niet super luxe maar er was alles wat nodig was, badkamer met bad en douche, dubbele wasbak en producten voorhanden. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, het 3 gangen avondmaal was correct en lekker. De wijn bij prijs en ook nog lekker. Voor een 3 sterren hotel zeker aan te bevelen. Bedank voor het fijne verblijf👍

Vierdaags arrangement geboekt met diner. Kamer is goed met aardig balkon. Schoon; niet luxe. Terras achterzijde rommelig, niet echt gezellig. De maaltijden zijn niet bijzonder; de voor- en nagerechten zijn nog het beste. Wat opvalt is dat een aantal personeelsleden niet echt proberen het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Het hotel is prima gelegen. Vele suggesties voor auto- of fietstochten. De omgeving van Epen is echt een beetje buitenlands.

Drie maanden geleden telefonisch een verblijf geboekt voor 5 dagen halfpension voor 3 personen, onder wie onze moeder van 90. Toen we aankwamen na een reis van 250 km bleek er sprake van een ‘klein foutje’: er waren geen kamers voor ons, hoewel we een bevestiging konden overleggen. Toen de eigenaar vroeg of we hem nu niet aardig vonden en we dat inderdaad niet vonden, besloot hij verder geen moeite te willen doen voor ons. Dus na een reis van enkele uren konden we weer naar huis. Hoewel het 31’C was, vonden we het niet bepaald een een warme ontvangst.
