We booked a room for our wedding for one of our wedding guests travelling from the northeast. On arrival the hotel was closed with a metal shutter and no one around. When eventually someone came out they refused to permit check in as it was booked by ourselves on his behalf. After a really long drive we had to find an alternative hotel and lost our money, what’s more this added huge amounts of stress to a bride and groom on the eve of our wedding when we had lots of things going on! So sadly I wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

Lovely staff - checked in and when asked to book in for breakfast was told not currently available even tho offered on the website and visible sign at reception with prices While building looking very tired but the room was clean and bed comfortable . No hot water ,TV broken and had to request cup towel and milk ( all three bought to me very quickly ) but the no hot water was a deal breaker

My reservation was booked for May 2020 however it got changed to April 2021 due to covid/ government restrictions. However in the end due to more restriction changes, my stay was during the time where hotels were not open. I have sent emails and called the hotel yet have had absolute no response regarding refunding me!! Absolutely furious.

absolutely terrible, not worth the money save it and go somewhere else. no words to describe it at all. was not even open when we got there and got not refund. the person we spoke to was so so so rude.
