Stayed here whilst on business…
Beautiful hotel on the outside with well maintained gardens…
Inside slightly dated and could do with a small inves**ent but overall was lovely…

Lovely location, (pretty village) lovely grounds and impressive entrance. However, we weren’t in the main hotel. The room was large but old fashioned. The roof sloped at the sides which we banged our heads on several times. The window was small which made it stuffy and it was very dark, no main light in the bedroom only lamps. Bed was king size and comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean. We used the restaurant once for dinner and we had 2 breakfasts and the food was nice and reasonable priced. Breakfast was self service (as ours was included) with a good and plentiful variety. The staff were friendly and helpful but professional. We didn’t use the pool in the end as it meant going outside and back inside, as our room was not connected to a covered route to the pool.
Nothing really to complain about but we did expect the room to be a bit more luxurious. Slightly overpriced for the room. I expect the price was based on the available amenities.

I had recently sprained my back and was struggling with stair's
No lifts which they never mentioned and all they had was the 4th floor, Sod's Law
Couldn't check in till after 5 due to a late check out so had to sit the bar till available which annoying

Excellent stay! Had a great welcome at reception and gift bags for kids which went down a treat!
Positives: Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great pool, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff
Improvements required:
Not enough space at restaurant for evenings, had to order food in
Breakfast - food was not being topped up on a regular basis and coffee isn’t great

Pros 1. The staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful. Our luggage had to be delivered from Heathrow due to an issue there and it was placed in our room. Cons 1. The hotel is not suitable for the disabled or people with mobility issues. Many of the rooms are a long way from reception and there are numerous steps. 2. The parking is inadequate. I would not really recommend staying here unless you're interested in the golfing facilities. I'm not an expert but they seem rather good.

My husband has stayed here most weeks for the past two and a half years. When I get the opportunity I come to join him because we are always made to feel so special and welcome. All the staff go above and beyond to make sure our stay wants for nothing. The hotel takes on a special charm in the depth of winter through to the first bloom of summer. A very special thank you to Nicole, Charlotte, Natasha, Stacey, Max and Chris. I’m sure we’ll see you all again very soon.

Excellent location, golf course and health suite as well.
Need a bit of improvement in the breakfast buffet. Not much variety especially when I compare it with the one from Middle east.
The swimming pool is a bit dark, would have been better if they can make it more bright either using the lights or some other means.
