Really good accomodation near the Sahara desert, good meal and services, big room finely furnished and two pools, one covered! Comfortable if you want to visit the desert! Hardly suggested, the best accomodation in our week in south of Marocco!

Our Gate 1 tour stopped here for one night on our way to the desert and the accommodations were very good. We were warmly greeted by musicians and of course mint tea and cookies. The room was uniquely appointed in Berber style and the fossil sink was very cool. The highlight was the walk in shower! The buffet food was adequate and the desserts outstanding. The pool area was very nice and the musicians played traditional music on the patio in the evening.

This hotel was the one we liked best . It's built with traditional adobe bricks and decorated inside using traditional materials and textiles . The bedrooms are quite unique with their divans and beds covered in Berber blankets and rugs . The bathroom has a basin made of marble inlaid with fossils , which are a feature of this part of the world , which borders on the Sahara , and the walk in shower is wonderful . in the centre of the main building there is an inviting swimming pool . We were serenaded by a group of Berber musicians on our arrival and had a sumptuous meal on our return from a short trip to the edge of the desert . The hotel was very busy with many participants in a motor cycle rally but its otherwise calm atmosphere made us want to linger longer .

Well, the hotel is a great property. Very nice rooms. A good pool. A good location. Etc. I took a group there recently, and everyone loved it. The problem is that they serve buffet dinners. I had a group of 20 people, and at about 3 a.m. that night, after the buffet dinner, we all started getting sick and throwing up. When I spoke with two managers the next morning about the situation, they took me into a back room and became angry when I said that I believed the buffet was the reason that my customers were sick. The managers told me that surely my customers must have become sick from the previous day's lunch, which was ridiculous because we all ate different things at lunch. And, of course, we all ate from the hotel's buffet that night, and became very ill about seven or eight hours later. Almost all of us were sick for about 48 hours, and being sick, and having to travel into the Sahara, was very difficult and detracted from the experience. In my option, this hotel should be serving a la carte dinners. I don't know why they want to do the huge buffets, with giant bowls of food. My local tour guide told me that he thought that they left the food out, then re-used it the next night, and perhaps the next, etc. This is my belief as I only ate cooked vegetables and yet I became very sick... If you stay at this hotel, I would be very careful of the buffet. Otherwise, it was a good hotel.

We stayed here for only 1 night on our way into the desert. The hotel is unique layout and the theme was like it was a Kasbah. The food was buffet style and there were bars at the pool. The room was very u inquest and had fossils in the sink vanity. I was sad that we only had one night at this hotel.

Expansive Moroccan Kasbah theme hotel located close to entrance to Sahara. You will encounter Moroccan traditional lamps, potteries and decors everywhere you turn. Very nice swimming pool in the center courtyard. The bathroom sink in the room is fabricated from a chunk of rock imbedded with million year old fossils. Other fossil statuesque was on display in hotel too. This area was underwater millions of year ago. Abundant fossils are being found in the nearby hills. Photo wall in hotel lobby implies that Hidalgo, Sahara and John Wick 3 were filmed there.

Excellent experience. Stayed 1 night whilst touring Morocco. Hotel done out in the Moroccan style, very quirky. It was clean and comfortable, even with its quirky decor in the room.  Food was excellent and really hot (first time in Morocco). Pool area OK and good bar. It's an excellent base to explore the dunes and see them either at sunrise or sunset. Only downside was the high step up to the bathroom. Watch out in the night.

I stayed 2 nights at the Kasbah and even though the hotel is beautiful, there a 2 things fundamentally wrong with it. Food is not up to scratch and the staff is rude. I have been to Morocco many times and people are always lovely but there NO...they have an attitude when you ask a question. shame when you have such a beautiful location.
