Zu Fuß in die Altstadt und zur Tram nur 5 Minuten , Zimmer durchschnittlich , es gibt auf dem Zimmer einen Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher ( Tee ,Kaffee) . Parken am Hotel oder Tiefgarage pro Tag 20 € ist wohl mittlerweile Standard. Ein Frechheit sind die Preise für das Frühstück. 23 € pro Person , wir haben es schon deutlich besser und preiswerter kennengelernt, und das war nicht vor 10 Jahren und in Hamburg oder Dresden . Obst ??? ( Erdbeerzeit) es gab nur Äpfel, Orangen und wenige Weintrauben, Brötchen Auswahl war Glückssache, Brot teils hart und nur fettige Wurst. Wenigstens gab es Filterkaffee und manchmal frische Brötchen .Wir haben zu zweit bei zwei Übernachtungen für 4 x Frühstück und Parken nochmal 132 € extra zahlen müssen. Leute , geht frühstücken zum Bäcker , viele findet ihr nach einem kurzen Fußmarsch in der Altstadt, für 23 € kann man gut zu Abend essen. .

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Fussgängerzone. Man ist im Nu am Anger, Fischmarkt und am Domplatz. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Parkgarage vorhanden. Zimmer sind hell und freundlich. Im Sommer könnte es allerdings recht warm in den Zimmern werden, da es keine Klimaanlage hat. Betten sind gut und bequem. Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und das Auffüllen klappt auch meistens.

Zwischenstop auf einer Reise in den Harz und Geburtstag unserer Tochter. Die bestellten Blumen für den Frühsrücktisch waren sehr schön und wir hatten einen separaten Plstz ab vom Trubel des normalen Frühstücks. So konnten wir mit einem Glas Sekt auf das Geburtstagskind anstoßen. Herzlichen Dank für das Arrangement und die freundliche Bedienung. Wir kennen das Mercure schon länger und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt.

In die Jahre gekommen, aber tolle Lage und sauber! Bäder sind neu, Matratzen sehr gut, Möbel im Zimmer aber teilweise kaputt, Teppich in den Fluren sehr wellig - hier muss nach und nach renoviert werden! Sehr hellhörig! Auf den Gängen hört man alles. Aber für einen Städtetrip kann man es gut buchen!
