Synset Lidge is amazing. In all our prior trips to Escada we've always wondered about it, but opted to stay somewhere else. Never again! Its a little gem that should not be missed. We'll be back.

This is a no-frills, VERY clean and comfortable lodge. We only stayed 1 night while traveling, but were very pleased. Particularly nice were the small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in our room. The owners provided a well done & helpful "handbook" of information about the Escanaba area. We arrived a little late & the owner had the room ready to go, even leaving a lamp on for us. Great service, and we will return in the future!

We loved the nostalgic feel of this old timer. But don’t be fooled! It was completely redone and the rooms were very clean and updated nicely! The showers were nice and hot and we appreciated the clock with usb plug ins. You also get a coupon for the restaurant next door (same owner) which was one of the best breakfasts we have had on our 2 week road trip. If we are in the area again, we will stay again at the Sunset Lodge.
