Hotels near Nature reserve Ellergronn in Esch-sur-Alzette

Since we are almost never using the typical hotel services, a apartment with kitchenette is better suited to us. And the Residence home in Belval is the best we have booked. The equipment is complete, including with the main kitchen tools and dishes, so you don't have to bring anything. The bathroom is quite large with a flat shower, which we personally love. A large window can be opened right, although air conditioning is available, it is also very pleasant. The staff is always friendly and attentive, you feel welcome and that is still 24/7! Clear recommendation, we will live here again at the next visit and look forward to it.

The overall price/performance ratio is quite high. It is close to the belval train station, and the surrounding restaurants are also very convenient. You can store your luggage. There are bars, cafes and restaurants in the store, and you can choose to self-service. The disadvantage is that it does not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers. There is a little dust on the desktop. Attach the view outside the window, ➕in-store menu.

J'ai eu les peintres à la maison pendant toute une semaine et au lieu de rester chez moi dans l'odeur, j'ai passé quelques jours à l'hôtel Ibis Luxembourg Sud. Malgré le fait que l'hôtel se trouve directement à côté de l'autoroute, on ne ressent pas du tout le bruit, tout est parfaitement isolé. J'ai déjà séjourné plusieurs fois dans des hôtels Ibis, mais l'amabilité de la dame le soir à l'enregistrement et celle du serveur (Abdel) le soir au restaurant sont de classe mondiale. Pour le repas, j'étais un peu sceptique, mais mon palais et moi-même avons été très surpris. La salade Cesar, délicieuse ( voir photo ) ainsi que la planche à raclette ( voir photo ) également délicieuse. Et après le repas, un délicieux dessert, un thé vert et un bon Cointreau glacé. En résumé, un hôtel parfait avec des collaborateurs parfaits qui ont toujours le sourire. Respect VOUS méritez ces éloges, merci beaucoup.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for business. I got to the hotel from the airport on bus 29 and arrived around noon. Was hoping to check-in early but was advised the check-in time was later, although I can check-in earlier if I registered to be an Accor member - which I ended up doing although didn't really want to. The hotel is located in a quiet/more commercial part of town within 10 minutes walking distance to the train station and a short bus ride (5+ minutes walk to the bus station) to the touristy part of town. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a bigger room, a bath tub and a pool but the room otherwise had all the usual toiletries and coffee/tea making facilities. Buffet breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice although it was only on the 2nd morning that I realised that the cold cuts were on a table at the back of the restaurant. Although breakfast officially starts at 6am, food was still being taken out from the kitchen at 6:20am. Reception was helpful with directions but after I checked out, I got a SMS from my bank notifying me that I had a Euro 1 charge on my card by the hotel - not sure if it was because I requested a printed copy of the invoice at check out because if that was what the Euro 1 was for, then reception should have informed me beforehand? At approximately Euro 200 a night, not value for money in my opinion.

Was able to do an early check-in and the hotel looks exactly the same in the picture. Staff were really friendly. Staff even booked taxi for us at dawn for our early flight. Hotel and room looks super nice! Have a vid of the room but can’t seem to upload it. Overall really satisfied!!

We were in Luxembourg for a night and for that the Empire Hotel was perfect. We were very friendly and everything was dealt quickly and uncomplicated. The rooms were clean and for a short stay more than sufficient. The breakfast buffet surprised us very much, the choice was lovely and of high quality. Because of the location directly at the main train station or a main road it can naturally become loud, but in the 3rd floor it was perfectly OK. All is accessible by foot and we were on the “P+R Lux Sud” parking with the bus within 15 minutes at the hotel. Thank you for your stay!

This hotel has more pros than cons. Staff very professional. Excellent food for breakfast so pretty pricey at 27 Euro. The rooms look very old fashioned and could do with a bit of touch up but I think that's part of the hotel's charm. I got a single room and it cost me about 98 US Dollars on trip.com's wonderful website. An excellent value for that price even an excellent value for $150 after that find someplace a little newer. Breakfast is really excellent except the eggs were undercooked and the bacon was undercooked and when I asked them to take it back to the kitchen and cook it a little more they would only cook the bacon for me. Maybe in Luxembourg people eat their eggs sweat but no way I could stomach that it would probably make me ill so I skipped the eggs. However the cheese was top notch and the meal was worth 27 Euro if you could eat 27 euro worth of cheese. I would even go so far as to say I would stay here again. The bathroom is a little outdated but charming and had birds and flowers on the tiles. The hotel front desk man acted as a concierge but clearly he had been there for a long time and was very well trained and had very good advice about where to eat and what to see. I like the whole staff and an added asset was the bar downstairs brings you back to many years ago. I was lucky enough to get a balcony in my room and it would be a wonderful idea if I had trouble with somebody to have wine on the balcony and watch the world go by. I will post my view from my balcony. I call this hotel room with a view. The hotel had more more pros than cons and I was happy with my decisions to stay there.

Luxembourg hotels are generally very expensive. I seldom live in Ibis because I know the rooms in Ibis are very small. The space in this Ibis room is so small that it is unimaginable. There is no more.... The location is not convenient, about 10 kilometers away from the city, you can take a bus back and forth, the bus will be more convenient, the bus out of the city has to follow the navigation, around to find the station. It is not recommended to stay anyway.
