Hotel am See

We had to find a hotel last minute while staying in Eschenbach. Called Alex at hotel am see and he was more than accommodating for a group of 5. Can’t say thank you enough for his hospitality! He walked us around the property and even though we got in around 21:00. he showed us where to help our selves to drinks, the dining area, and laundry. There was a charming little cat that wanders around outside the property and our group loved her! Thank you Alex, the staff, and Cleopatra at hotel am see. A very homey feeling place and would 100% stay here again :)!

Overall an excellent place to stay. Alex and the staff are the best and treat you like family. Food is delicious and plentiful. I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Am See! Thank you for everything, I can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I just completed a 6 night stay at Hotel Am See over Christmas visiting our son (U.S. Army) and family living in Netzaberg Housing area. Eschenbach is one of very few small towns in the area. I reviewed all Trip Advisor reviews of area hotels and found it amazing AmSee had nearly all 5-star reviews….must be doing something right. I can say now that all the 5-star reviews are all valid and already contain many of the fine features I found….so I won’t repeat . The owner / manager Alex is totally hands on. He is at breakfast each morning talking to guests, helping them get info and getting things done for them. He speaks excellent English, We will stay here again since son is just starting his tour of duty. Read the other reviews and feel confident that you will be comfortable and taken care of as family.

We stayed two nights here and loved it. I needed two rooms, one for two teenage boys and one for my wife and me - Alex didn't have a room with two beds for the children so he just gave them each a room without charging extra. Generous breakfast, even an unexpected lunch option, and just a warm and friendly vibe from everybody. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We left something in one of the rooms and Alex responded quickly, finding it and mailing it to me outside of Germany. Thanks Alex for the warm welcome and the great hotel experience!
