Just spent one night here for work. Booked the day before, and got the last single room, which I think was reflected in the price (£99). That said, it was a similar price to other hotels in the area for that night. First impressions were positive. The lobby area was clean and the chap who booked me in was friendly and we had a good chat about football. The room was spotless. The bathroom was modern with generous sized shower. The bed was fine, although the mattress was a little on the soft side. Obviously whether you like that or not is down to taste. The room was warm without being stifling, and there was a decent sized TV, plenty of plug sockets and coffee (instant) and tea making facilities. Breakfast was very good. As much cereal, juice, yoghurt, croissants, coffee (freshly ground) and tea as you like, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. It had bacon, sausage (a quality one at that, a bellwether of a breakfast's quality), egg - done anyway you want, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans - in a small bowl for all you weirdos who don't like them touching anything else! - and toast. The staff were all friendly and helpful, offering tips for local attractions to the couple next to me. All-in-all, I would recommend this hotel. One tip I would give is to arrive as early as you can, as the parking is limited to around 10/12 spaces (and is very tight). Having said that I parked further down the street no problem.
