A beautiful place, lovely room, with very nice snd very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast! Thoroughly recommended.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! While the dar has lovely rooms, it is located directly next to a club that played intolerably loud techno music from 6PM until 2AM. There was no way to escape the pounding bass drum and it was impossible to sleep. The owner also owned the club and was indifferent to our complaints. 2 other couples our group moved out and lost money. It's really a shame because the staff was very nice.

Condition of the hotel is much worse than we ecpected. The smell of humidity in the room was awful. The owner wants to leave the room key in unatendet place where other guests have access to it. The place doesnt look like the photos show. It doesnt worth the price.

Une très bonne adresse à Essaouira. A proximité d'un parking pour voitures (on peut facilement gagner l'hotel à pied). La maison est au fond d'une petite rue qui ne paye pas de mine mais comme souvent, est très agréable et très bien décorée. Le service était agréable. Une nuit nous avons eu de la musique très forte venant d'une disco à proximité et en avons parlé à la direction: le lendemain c'était beaucoup mieux. La location centrale de l'hotel fait ne le rend pas extrèmement calme de nuit, mais pas non plus extrèmement bruyant.

Our instructor booked the whole place for our sketching retreat. On the first night, the music venue next door played very loud techno music until 1am. We discovered that the owner of our Dar was the same as the owner of the music venue. We politely asked for the music to be lowered in volume after 11pm. On the second night, not only did they not lower the music, they played until 2am.

Nice little riad close to everything. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Only downside is that it's close to a club, so if you like to enjoy a few drinks till 1:30 am it's a great location, if you are a light sleeper you might find it difficult to sleep before 1:30 am

Riad très agréable. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Chambre (suite) superbe avec une très belle salle de bains. Très peu de monde, donc pas de bruit, mais je pense que cela peut varier...! Petits déjeuner en terrasse, délicieux 😋 !!! Pas de bol sur la météo... mais là personne n'y peut rien! Heureusement il y avait un radiateur d'appoint dans la chambre... pas de restauration sur place sauf je crois dur commande mais les conseils donnés à l'arrivée pour trouver de (très) bons restos étaient parfaits. Bref, très bel endroit

I particularly appreciated the possibility of being able to combine the fact of being in the center of the Kasbah, the historic heart of the medina (the tiny Souss lane appears on a 1767 map as it still is today!), in a riad very respectful of the architectural tradition, yet with charm and at the same time great comfort. Hearty and friendly breakfast on the sunny terrace is fantastic, such feelings of rest and comfort! For a private terrace with a view of the harbor dungeons and the ocean, I chose the Suite "Belem" set as a boat's cabin. The view on the old harbor, its fortress protecting from sea's tides, is going to be one of my best souvenir of Essaouira. The staff is so kind, so dedicated to make you feel good, and so is Nathalie, the discrete owner who nevertheless will make sure you don't miss anything. I'm used to come back regularly to Essaouira since over 15 years and I tried many great places already, but I will definitely come back to that riad.

Très belle vue. Personnel très attentif et souriant. Abdullah toujours prêt à rendre service. Très bon petit déjeuner. Équipements un peu vieillots. Gros point noir : une vieille boxe D-Link dans la "suite" Belem; donc une connexion plus qu'aléatoire...
