It is very close to airport. This is why I picked this hotel. Also shuttle bus service starts at 4 am, which will save money for Uber. Standard room size and clean. Nothing to complaint

La Quinta’s location was perfect for weekend trip. Staff were friendly and helpful on both days and evening shifts.
I loved the free shuttle service provided that allowed us to go to and from the airport and also to the Septa train services right at the airport station. The train service was comfortable which allowed us to visit down town PHL with ease. We just called the hotel again for pick up when we were back at the airport station again. The Downtown visit was a great experience indeed.
Word of advice - though the hotel works hard to maintain cleaniless in the main foyer and dining area, the room was spacious and tidy - though not fully equipped with personal items like hand soap so do bring your own - that will save you a lot of grief with no expectations of having a fully stocked bathroom. I do believe these may be available at the front desk. We had our own supply so it’s no big deal.
They do serve a good hearty hot breakfast of waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages along with choices of cereals, bagels, bread, juices, & yogurts. Coffee tea and hot water are available at the foyer anytime.

Checking in at the hotel I greeted the representative, (yes she had a line and taking calls and talking to housekeeping ) so I gave her a pass. I gave my name and said I’m checking in. She looked up and asked my name and Id and cc. I responded well it’s prepaid but here you go. Now disclaimer the 3rd party booking site does not state the hotel will charge a deposit. I also let her know I had my small dog. She let out a sigh like she had to extra work. (Side note the hotel is pet friendly) now the hotel website nor the 3rd party booking site DOES NOT mention anything about a NON-REFUNDABLE pet deposit. Now as a pet owner I’m always prepared for unexpected charges for him. But that should be listed because I would have stayed elsewhere because I normally don’t travel with him and my regular hotel in the PA area has a refund fee. So now on top of me paying a deposit for staying here and paying a pet deposit and pre-paying for hotel. I would have thought twice before booking this location. Especially after you can tell she changed our room. She put us in a bad one this one had mold bugs(roaches) and no hotel phone. Yes no phone
I have included photos of the room of things that were found when we came in.
Bottom line we stayed her before the brand change it was boarder line then but it was a quick turn a around but now I was hoping some the brand change it would be different NOPE same. The same inside just different name not pleased and did I mention I am a rewards card member and when I gave her my information she was like I will find someone time to add it and said next person Wow .
I wasn’t expecting a hug or a cookie just more from somewhere I prebooked for myself and family.
The photos at the bottom show the mold in the bathroom the lack of hotel phone in are room, if you zoom in to the picture the cord that’s where the roaches were (dead now ) and last was the dirty closet shelf.

The hotel is well located if you need to travel and quite close to the city, the rooms look very good. And the best is breakfast. Parking is free as is breakfast. I recommend it.

The house is so old, it has as much history as a ghost town.

The staff is amazing as always. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities required for a short visit and the breakfast had a lot of variety. The shuttle service was on time and the drivers were courteous. There are a few restaurants in the nearby area.

I used the park, sleep, and fly option for this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room and bed were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the shuttle was timely and efficient. I would definitely stay here again when traveling!

Wonderful stay. Friendly staff check me in early and I felt well treated. The nice room proved a great place to shower and get a comfortable night's rest. The shuttle experience seemed great and efficiently got me where I needed to be. Breakfast included adequate choices and good protein. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is old, feels dirty and run down. The carpets stink, we were bitten by bedbugs. I caught one of the bugs in a bottle and gave it to the receptionist. Management refused to issue a refund. The towels and shower had hair on them. The toilet paper in thin and the main elevator is broken.

I booked this hotel through *******; I paid $320.40 for two nights. When I walked in the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. When you walk in it feels "wet". I know there's been a lot of tropical storms around the world so I looked past it. The first red flag was the roach walking across the floor but I looked past it as the front door was open, etc. I went to the room, and dropped my bags on the couch, as I had an emergency and needed to run to CVS. When I got back, I went to prepare myself to turn in for the evening. I said let me do my bed bug check, etc. When I pulled the sheets/covers back, I saw little things crawl fast across the bed. I said to myself, I know that isn't a bed bug so I turned to get my glasses and grab my phone for brighter light. When I turned around, I no longer saw anything on the bed. But when I looked up I saw a bug on the wall. I used my phone and zoomed and OMG... it was a ROACH and with the zoom on super high, I saw a few more roaches in the top corner of the wall near the ceiling. I grabbed my things and ran out of there. On the elevator, other guests joked that I was in a rush. I said yup, rushing to get out of there, my room had roaches. I won't share what he said but we shared the same experience. When I got to the front desk, I SHOWED THE CLERK THE VIDEO AND PICTURE! Her name was "G". She looked at the video and the pictures and said oh! Like no big deal.... I said I can't stay here. She said I can give you another room. I said no thank you. If there are roachES in one room, they are in all rooms. She said well you can check out the room if you want. I said no thank you. Just because I check a room and don't see one, doesn't mean they won't crawl out when the lights go out or crawl in my bag and travel back home with me. I said ma'am, I thank you for the gesture, but I don't do bugs so I will pass. She said I understand, however I can't give you a refund because you booked through a 3rd party. I could put the request for a refund in the system but you will have to call the 3rd party for them to process it. Cool, no problem. I get on the phone with *******, they see the refund request, they call the hotel to verify and G told them that the request won't be approved until the morning when the manager comes in. Again, cool! I leave to grab a room at a more decent hotel. The next day, I get an email from ******* saying that my request was approved. Cool! But then I see that the refund is only for $136.36 which was for ONE night. ******* stated that the hotel refused to refund the second night because it was non-refundable, I refused to stay and they offered me another room. I said, it's not like the sheets were dirty or the room was stink where offering me another room would be reasonable. I said, the same roaches that were there the first night are still going to be there the second night and in other rooms. I said, had there not been roaches physically on the bed a

Totally disgusting! The beds had been slept in and the sheets were stained and dirty. Hair in both beds! I wouldn’t even sit on them. There appeared to be blood stains on the carpet. Other stains on the curtains and chair. The bathroom was so disgusting I couldn’t even use the toilet. SHAME ON AMERICAN AIRLINES for sending me to this dump after canceling my flight. I sat on the desk, the least disgusting surface I could find, for three hours and got back on the 2:30 shuttle to the airport. I would have been better off sleeping in the terminal or on the sidewalk.
