We stayed here as a bit of a last minute booking as our planned accommodation was very noisy. I called into the hotel prior to reserving the room to have a quick look around. It should have been at this point that the receptionist should have thought to mention that all the pools were closed. One of the main reasons we booked was to enjoy the pool with our young daughter. We booked a 2 bedroom penthouse apartment which is very spacious and well equipped with beautiful views and good air conditioning. The furniture is quite tired and the chairs and table make an awful noise when moved across the floor (they need pads on the bottom) we tried very hard to move them considerately, conscious of anyone staying below us. The sofa was old, damaged and not comfortable and the tv didn’t have any smart features. The main bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows provided were inadequate. The blackout shutters were great. Breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel buffet. Nothing special. We had lunch at one of the restaurants which was quite nice. They do advertise having a children’s play area but it is outside of the hotel ground, severely run down, damaged in places, covered in graffiti and broken glass.
