We had five lovely nights at the hotel, the staff were fabulous but very few and far between resulting in some waiting for drinks not their fault at all . They need to employ more staff and that would solve it. Fran in particular needs a pat on the back as he seemed to be everywhere! Our room was spotless with a decent balcony and i agree with other reviews that the TV has only 1 English channel Sky news, not a problem for us but other people may require more, i also agree that the location is out of the way. We found a local restaurant that suited us so again wasn't a problem, we used UBER for visits to Estepona old town where we spent a day. The pool was checked every day which i liked and the pool area was clean with lots of sunbeds and towels were provided, The food at the pool bar was excellent i would definitely recommend eating there its open until around 7pm but worth noting it doesn't open until 12,30 ish ! The breakfast was plentiful but i think the hot food should have been hotter. It was our first visit to the area so I've nothing to compare it to, my husband was recovering from a recent surgery so a quiet break suited us. People looking for lots of local places to eat and drink and a more lively experience i would say that sadly this hotel isn't for them. it did look as if there was some development going on in the area, so hopefully this lovely hotel and its staff will have some more options for their guests to enjoy.
