We booked for an overnight stay to see the EDPjazz concert in Cascais. My partner booked it and specified that she needed a low floor as she suffers from vertigo. On arrival we were told we were on the 4 th floor. Oops. Not a good start. The receptionist was very helpful and we said we would leave our case and go for lunch. The replacement room was on the ground floor facing the pool . Unfortunately the smelly rubbish bin with all the cigarettes ash was right in upside the window. The pluses . We had a working fridge ( unfortunately it made a generator noise all night) but the room was clean and beds comfortable. Air con and tv in room. Breakfast was good. Better than some 4 star hotels we have stays in . Would we stay again for a short break, probably yes. Car parking in the street by the hotel was free as some roads in the area were not. Very friendly staff.

Transportation: about 800m from the estoril station, need to cross the street Cost-effective: very high, although a little distance from the beach, but in the morning to go to the beach to watch the sunrise, walk for five minutes, the price is really good in advance, the room size is also large enough, including breakfast, Western-style buffet, although the variety Not much but the win is completely included in the room rate. Amazonia hotel was a very good experience for our family. We loved the fact that the hotel have large appartments and that is was a small hotel. Lots of privacy and staff that was so helpfull with our plans. Trainstation very close and so easy to get to lisbon. Although soms things can be improvid we absoluty had a very pleasant stay. If you don't mind that the kitchen only have limited pans, you will be fine. Be aware for people with disibilaties. The street is a great workout, going uphill. The furniture needs replacment, and the beds for the children in the livingroom could use an upgrade. But then again housekeeping was very helpfull, every day we had the beds made up and the room cleaned. Breakfast was well organised. Each morning there were the basics from croisants, bread, eggs, fruits yohurts, and a surprise sweet roll from pasteis de nata to muffins.. the swimmingpool is very quite even in august and the hotel provides clean towels to use. The area was quite, and the room we stayed in was very cool even with the AC off. We are looking back on a great stay in estoril. In need of groceries? We used ubereats to deliver to the appartement. We hope to come back in the naar future, amazonia will be on our list for booking.
