My family and I just returned from our adventure to Portugal and spent our last night in Portugal at this hotel after returning from Porto. Our kids are older so we booked a separate room for them. When you arrive, there is a small area directly in front of the hotel entrance where you can briefly stop to drop off luggage and the like. The entrance of the hotel is nice, bright and very modern. Check-in was easy, quick and after a quick call to verify, our rooms were ready to go. As in normal practice when booking hotels in Europe, be prepared to provide details for everyone in your group. The elevator is a nice touch as it made it easy to get up to the third floor. The elevator adds a little old-school feel as it only accommodates 2 people. Rooms were nice and quant and a good value for the price we paid. The rooms are not huge but provided everything we needed including a small refrigerator, in-room safe, usb plug-ins for charging and a nicely sized balcony overlooking the outdoor pool. The washroom was a good size with shower/bathtub, bidet and nice touches like a back-lite make-up mirror and a conversion plug. We found the room clean, with a good selection of pillows, a couple of extra blankets and found the beds comfortable. No microwave in the rooms we had booked. The toiletries provided were also pretty good quality. Unfortunately the outdoor pool is not heated so we did not take the opportunity to use it be it looks very nice and well kept. The rooms were in good condition but this is not a brand new hotel so some minor wear and tare but nothing really to complain about in our rooms. Parking is not included with your room but there is ample parking on the street in front of the hotel and at check-in, they were nice enough to note that parking is free on the road overnight from 8p till 8a in the morning, you just need to make sure you are parked before all the spots are taken up at night. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was a short walk down to the Estroil beaches boardwalk, you can almost see the ocean from the entrance of the hotel, the hotel had a nice green space across the road and was a nice safe area to be able to walk about. The proximity to Pingo Doce and Continental grocery stores helped us grab a couple last nice bottles of wine and olive oil to take back home with us. Heading out for the airport in the morning was an easy and the drive was direct and simple from the hotel's location. Unfortunately, we did not eat at the hotel for supper or breakfast but based on the hotel's location, you would likely have a number of local spots to choose from as well. We booked our rooms through the Hopper app and thought the hotel was a great value and would definitely stay again as a good starting spot to explore Estoril and Cascais. Cascais is not really a walk distance from this hotel but public transit options are available very close to this hotel. Can't wait till we return to Portugal.
