Accommodation in the local bar. The bar downstairs is in the direction of Eton in Windsor. It is very quiet. The bed is suitable for two people. There is no elevator. The wooden stairs are relatively narrow and retro. milk. A very quiet town and more comfortable than London ~ 10 minutes walk from the train station. Dinner in many bars is very good👍

Always an excellent stay at the C&C. Welcoming and wonderful. We love the location, the people, the quirks of centuries-old building, the breakfast. Its close to Windsor Castle, the long walk, and everything else we wanted to see. Thank you!

Average at best, the rooms are clean and have been modernised. Just not finished to a great standard. Tv was tiny and the noise from the bar was annoying. Not soundproofed. The guy at the bar gave me the wrong key so I ended up being locked out of my room at 11pm. Nobody answered the phone until I texted,

Good nights sleep , comfy bed nice linen . Staff very helpful lovely full English plus toast cereal etc . The car park is at the rear and not accessible from the high street . Didn’t eat but menu looked ok . Nice outside area when the weather is nice . Very easy to get to Windsor just walk over the bridge 5 mins .

Good location.....comfortable bed...good bedding.
But .....scruffy and ragged. Very unloved outside...you'd walk past as a result.
You can excuse the room paintwork issues as more heavy duty maintenance I guess.....but not the very rusty toilet roll dispenser/holder, the 3 odd hangers in the wardrobe and the delaminated shelf (that is the only shelf for anything and everything. These are simole items that should be/have been picked up and sorted.
No drawer and/or shelf storage....so those 3 only hangers were a particular bugbear.
