Wir waren hier zum Skifahren und Ausspannen. Beides gelingt hier bestens, sehr schönes Haus, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Belegschaft. Das Restaurant hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt, alles gut. Pool und Wellness- Bereich sind ebenfalls sehr gepflegt

I had a great 4 nights staying at this hotel - which is owned by the monastery across the street. The highlights for me were 1) Helmut, the night guard (extremely friendly and with encyclopedic knowledge on German/Bavarian history and politics); 2) the pool (quite nice); 3) the sauna (only open from 3 pm, but also very nice); and 4) the bed (VERY nice mattress). Highly recommended!

Una bella struttura, nata come ospizio per i pellegrini della vicina abbazia di Ettal, ma trasformato in albergo a quattro stelle fornito di tutti i comfort. Massima pulizia, non stanze ma appartamenti completi di cucina. Colazione veramente fenomenale servita anche in giardino. Da consigliare senz’altro

Ich hatte ein grosses Einzelzimmer, mit viel Platz, alles sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot alles notwendige. Es scheint so, dass viele Gruppen im Hotel logieren und leider waren einige äusserst laut. Fitnessraum, Sauna, Hallenbad habe ich alles nicht genutzt, dafür hatte ich Interesse an einer der 12 Ladestationen, nur leider haben die gar nicht existiert, sondern waren lediglich in Vorbereitung. Obwohl ich Online gebucht hatte, habe ich weder die Ettaler Sortimentspackung noch das Souvenir des Hauses erhalten. Ich denke da wird ein wenig viel versprochen.

6 nights There were multiple problems with the room - fridge and phone were not working, toiletries were not replenished, old small bath towels were not replaced. The front desk staff doesn’t allow to speak directly with the manager. The restaurant staff is rude, unfriendly and not professional. At the end I was told that I can leave any review and it means nothing to this hotel. I travel a lot and I do not remember when I was so frustrated by the attitude and unfriendliness. I would never consider this hotel in my travel plans.
