Beautiful view of the lake and causeway, but the bridge was having construction done and the property was in severe need of some renovations.

I felt sympathy for the folks running this hotel. Pretty sure it's a family operation and they are trying to operate as inexpensively as possible. But the hotel is terribly rundown. The first room they put me in hadn't been cleaned. The second room was okay but there issues like the refrigerator temperature settings knob missing and the toilet running non-stop. It was really cheap, so I guess that should be taken into account.

Changed rooms twice due to heater in room not working. Found cockroach in bed. Took picture if corp would like to see. Never really got toasty warm in room. Night got down in the twenties. I was just to tired to change room again.

One word sums it up….Awful! We could not find anything that we thought was good. From the beginning when we checked in with a person that was not friendly or helpful to the 2nd floor room he gave us where we had to haul all our luggage up two flights. Will not stay here again!

Overall it was a good value and clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the water quality. The water was greasy and did not wash off my skin. Needs some kind of plumbing work done.

Motel was showing its age and upkeep has been overlooked. Ok for the price. Probalby would not stay there again.
