B&B Hotel Dreux Nord
"It was a good hotel for stopover and to attend an event. My room is clean and quiet and around the hotel there are food and restaurants which perfect for travelers."
B&B Hotel Chartres Centre Cathédrale 3 étoiles
"Located close to the historic center, you can conveniently leave your car in the underground car park to explore the city. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast lacked nothing."
Campanile PRIME - Chartres Centre Gare Cathédrale
"Decent hotel. Good location. Good cleaning."
Best Western Premier Grand Monarque Hotel Spa
"Lovely hotel and a beautiful room. At no point were we told there was a charge for the spa. It was agreed on departure that we should have bene told and the fee would be waived. However, my card was charged. This is absolutely unacceptable. The hotel are now being unresponsive in my request to have the charge refunded."
Château du Bois Guibert
"Top and very clean"
ibis Styles Chartres Sud Barjouville
"We were travelling from Spain on the way to Calais, booked night before, needed somewhere that could book us in after midnight. Difficult to find, would have been easier if we had believed the sat nav. Very helpful staff, great spacious room. Incredibly comfortable beds."
Hotel le Golf Parc Robert Hersant
"I was worried we were going to miss checkin and they replied quickly and gave us all of the information I needed. We all had side rooms which were clean, comfortable and had a lovely view. The showers were cold the first day but fine for the rest of our stay. We only had breakfast once as we had to be out early every day. It was nice enough but felt it was a little over priced for what was there. Although they did offer to cook some more croissants for us. Rooms were cleaned every day to a hood standard. Each room had a fridge which was really useful but would have been nice to have some proper glasses in the room. Also it was a shame they didn’t offer an evening meal as we struggled to find anywhere to eat. But a good location and walkable to the nearest village. Overall we had a good stay. "
Auberge du Moulin à Vent, the Originals Relais
"Very good address, fresh products and tastefully prepared. Nothing to complain about the presentation or the taste. The taste buds are served if you are a fan of good cuisine. The dish was exquisite, too bad it wasn't very hot. The little lemony note of the sauce with the leek rissoto and the fish, a delight. As for dessert, excellent and well loaded"
Mercure Maintenon
"Everything went well, thank you"

Domaine de Moresville
"The reception looked like something out of the Psycho Bates Motel. To get to the room, you have to walk through the restaurant, which smelled of rancid butter. Then you have to pass through a room with stacked chairs that looked like a storage area. The room is very shabby, attic-style, with a tiny old bathroom. The bed blanket was worn out, the carpet was dirty and smelled bad, and worst of all: there were insects on the blanket. We left immediately despite having paid for the room. We didn’t come to such a remote place to have such a terrible experience."
Château de La Rivière
"We stayed 4 nights at the magnificent Chancellor's room that dates back to the time of Louis XIII, but with every modern amenity available. The spacious grounds are stunning, with the Eure river running by, a few horses grazing leisurely and fish playing in the water. We played tennis in the morning, swam in a lovely pool, and enjoyed a lavish candle-lit dinner and fine European breakfasts. Will definitely go back!"
Les Chambres d'hôtes - la Closerie
Ace Hôtel Chartres
"Very good quality price."
Logis Hôtel Restaurant le Quai Fleuri
"The hotel is warm. Most pleasant restaurant. Kitchen is made with good local products. They are very good dishes. The staff is conscious and professional. The outdoors are beautiful despite a rainy day. I recommend."
Ibis Chartres Ouest Lucé
"Already a bit older. Stains on the walls and carpet. Breakfast was slow in refills and quality was worse than in other standard Ibis Hotels."
Brit Hotel Châteaudun
Le Relais des Caleches - la Balinaise
Ibis Styles Dreux Centre Gare
"Tricky access, hidden in the street scene. Appeared to be adequate parking behind security gates for which an access code is required. 2 EV charging bays. Reception staff variable, reasonable requested ignored by one member of staff. The women were excellent. Four storeys and one lift, during a one night stay the lift was not available and not moving for my disabled wife to use probably because on another floor somebody was holding the doors over. The bedroom was a fair size with a 2.0 m (6'-8") bed. The view was of a car park across a main road. The hotel was quiet but some road noise penetrated. Some of the weird wall furniture appeared to be fabricated from empty wooden wine boxes, much had no obvious purpose. Only one chair. The floor covering is a textured vinyl, not very comfortable to walk on with bare feet. The 'central' heating could not be made to work. One USB - A and one USB - C sockets, not enough. Reasonable sized bathroom, walk in shower cubicle, all in working order. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice and a amazing range of sprinkles."
Brit Hotel du Perche
"The hotel is old, close to where you want to go, you can say that you can make do with it."
Residhome Chartres
"My partner and I enjoyed our stay at this Residhome, which is very well located not far from the center, the cathedral, and restaurants. The cleanliness is impeccable, which is very important to us 😀. The bed is comfortable, we sleep well. The staff is friendly and gave us useful tips for visiting the city. The gentleman who was there at checkout was very friendly, professional, and made us want to come back by telling us about the Festival of Lights, which will take place in February or March 2024. We thank him in passing ☺️ We recommend it and will stay there without hesitation if we return to Chartres one day."
La Collinière
"Very friendly welcome! Prachtige studio. Extended super fresh breakfast. A really advisor!!!!"
Campanile Nature - Dreux
"A distinctly poor Campenile. Stopped here on the way from Dieppe to the Dordogne. Rooms clean and fine. Plenty of car parking space. Restaurant open but when we asked to eat they only offered us pizza, half an hour later there were several others I assume not English! in the restaurant all eating food other than pizza. The pizza was frozen and was not cooked in the oven but was heated under the grill so the outside was burnt but the middle was still frozen. Very disappointing first night in France in terms of the food. "
Campanile Chartres
"Hotel well placed I regret the extra bed for my 16-year-old son who was a little boy Breakfast well garnished"
Mercure Chartres Est
"Everything went well, and the staff is very professional."
Greet Chartres Est
"The receptionist was very friendly during check-in! However, the room was poorly soundproofed; I could clearly hear the neighbors talking and watching TV, making it impossible to sleep. I wanted to complain, but there was no one at the front desk. It was incredibly frustrating! There was also no hairdryer!"
