Behind the office area was full of boxes. Some stacked 10 high.
They were in the hallway and in a small room behind the office. Very messy and I thought a little suspicious.

This motel needs a complete renivation. The rooms are outdated and the beddings are old. Even the towels are course. The hole building smelt of Asian cooking. There was absolutely no breakfast of any kind and even NO COFFEE provided up front. The only coffee available was that from a ONE cup pot in the room. We were in room 117 and the heater in it was defective as it was making a loud rattling/grinding sound. It has either a bearing going out in the motor or the fan is bad. There is no question that the manager of the place would have been well aware of this problem as it was rattling when we entered the room. The only contact that the manager had with us was his phone call at exactly 11am to tell us it was checkout time? Last time we will be staying there.

Shower curtain moldy and stained, sink plug did not work. Stains on the carpet and the bed sheets did not stay on the mattress.

The property was not maintained, whoever owns it sure doesn't care about the outside, which is the first thing people see.

Room key didn't work twice; once at 2am (returning from job site). Breakfast was stated on the wall ("Breakfast Monday - Friday 6am - 9am") - I have video of a completely empty lobby. Room was clean; wireless worked. In summary, it's a bed for $105 a night - seems excessive. From what I understand, he's the only hotel in town, so I guess you can charge what you want.

Many broken things that appear to have been ignored for a long time, I’ve machine down too, and breakfast was very lackluster. I will be coming back to Evansville, but staying anywhere else (even if I have to drive from further away).

The staff was friendly, but the hotel needs some TLC. The key lock mechanism on our door did not work properly and the deadbolt would not work. There was a distinct smell of food throughout the hotel.
