Avoid at all costs. Not only are the accommodations dated, they smell musty, old, and aged. More offensive, however, is the fact that, despite quoting me $219.00 per night, and at which rate I booked my 2-night reservation, when I looked at my credit card statement, they had charged me nearly double. Moreover, when I contacted them to advise them of what I believed, at the time, to have been an innocent mistake, they were not only without any remorse, but also refused to credit me back the difference that I had been charged. Unbelievable. There are MANY alternatives to this relic that anyone visiting the area ought to consider before staying here.

We love The Exeter Inn. The rooms and the beds are very comfortable. More importantly, the staff is incredible. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. We can’t wait to visit again during the fall season!

We had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend. The suite was very clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the coffee maker and the manager of housekeeping came in and showed us how to use the machine. The staff is amazing and so helpful. You will not be disappointed!

We are repeat guests of the Exeter Inn and have never been disappointed. The rooms have a quaint feel with fixtures of an era past and the beds are comfortable. All of the staff is no nice and helpful, too. There were even delicious cookies when we arrived. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and brunch at the on-site restaurant as well and couldn't have wished for a more perfect weekend get-away.

Beautifully appointed historic inn set among a gorgeous, quiet historic town. Short drive to excellent dining. Very supportive comfortable bed.
