Ganske slitent hotell. Bad var også dårlig. Dyrt i forhold til tilstand.
Frokost var bra, enkelt og greit. Hyggelig folk i resepsjon. Sentrumsnært.

OK, so you get a bed for the night, food and coffee in the morning 🌄, but that's just about it. Fagerlund is an old hotel located in the middle of Fagernes. Easy accessible, and it have a large parkinglot, free of charge. Friendly service minded staff. A short walk (2 min )to the beaches of Steandafjorden (Not a real fjord, it's a long stretched lake). Beach are is well arranged for children and families👍 The hotel, on the other hand, is in a serious need for renovation. Everything is old, and doesn't look and feel good. Single bedrooms have shared bathrooms, and it's not pleasant to stand in line for taking a shower. The rooms are very hot in the summer, and there is no AC. The rooms on the main road side are exposed to a lot of traffic. An outdoor bar is located right beneath the windows, and all the alcohol noise comes straight into the rooms. I could accept all this if the price was right, but it isn't. NOK 790 per night with breakfast. That's about $90 or £65. I would think NOK 550 would be reasonable for a single bed bedroom with shared bathroom, at this standard.
