Very quiet and clean. Rex, our host was helpful but unobtrusive. Make sure you buy some food and take it in with you as only breakfast is provided. Lots of breakfast choices and the dining area was very nice. We would definitely visit again

Very good location to watch Aurora. No town & traffic lights. Hosts are very kind for travelers. I could stay with comfortable. Room is clean and beautiful. Sight is also beautiful. You can wait for the Aurora inside the room, as much as possible.

Stayed here for a week with Gondwana Ecotours. Very comfortable. Far enough from Fairbanks to feel like you are really in the Alaskan wilderness. We hiked the trails once and borrowed snowshoes. They have a kitchen where you can fix food or heat up water for tea in the evening. Jess and Rex, owners, were so friendly and helpful. You will definitely need a car or transportation to get to the Lodge, but we had a great experience.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place that is out of the way, this is the place. It is older and bit rusty, but this adds to it's charm. I highly recommend staying there.

A wonderfully comfortable lodge in a beautiful quiet setting. Jess and Rex, the owners, are on site and available but are defiantly not intrusive. It is everything wanted for an Alaskan adventure. With 7 rooms it is ideal for a family get away.
