I am a long time, business traveler here. I have always been very happy with the quality of cleaning, especially, and the kindness and attention from the staff here. They have been so thoughtful and always responsive. Recently, it appears there was a change in management and I was at the front desk and witnessed a new woman who appeared to be a supervisor treating, one of the regular front desk people with real disrespect. It was hard to watch. This is someone who has been particularly helpful to me and always warm and very hard-working. This last week, my room was really not clean when I came back. There was spilled yogurt on the floor in the kitchen. My mirror was not cleaned in the bathroom above the sink, the toilet did not appear to have been cleaned.. My sheets had not been changed. To be fair, I use my own sheets and I leave the clean ones on top of the bed with a note. I have not had any issues with that arrangement before this week. Then I heard that all the old cleaning staff had been replaced this week. I don’t understand why, I have had nothing but excellent experiences with them, and I’ve been here over a year. I don’t know if this has to do with that new manager or not, but I am very unhappy with these changes. Both the Way that staff has been treated and the way that the cleaning standards appeared to have been changed. I reached out to the general manager by phone and left a voicemail, but I got no response. I also sent an email, again, nothing. I’ve been really happy here for quite a while and mostly disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from management at this point. I don’t like seeing people treated poorly, and it appears that the front desk people are not being treated with respect, and possibly those people who were cleaning who were all let go at the same time.
