Extended Stay America Suites - Dayton - Fairborn

The front desk clerk was extremely kind and was accommodating with requests I had the day I checked in. The housekeeper who was working the day I checked in was also extremely kind and she made sure I had everything I needed, she also helped me push the luggage cart out of the elevator. The customer service at this location is outstanding! I did go with very good as the furniture is a bit dates and some need repairs, but this is easy to overlook when the staff makes sure you feel welcome and at home. I cannot recommend this location enough. Thank you to the two ladies who went above & beyond ＜3

The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean though I'd have preferred to see a bit more sparkle on the fixtures in the tub. Chrome is supposed to shine, you know? The refrigerator was clean but the temperature adjustment control was missing. It was, however, cold enough to keep everything at a proper temperature and made ice cubes pretty quick. (There are no ice machines in the hotel but ice trays are provided at no cost.) THE HVAC required a bit of fiddling to produce the desired temperature but performed fine once dialed-in. The TV/Cable was ok though the package of channels wasn't exactly robust. Can't comment on the Wi-Fi other than they advertise free Wi-Fi but there's also an advertisement at the front desk for an upgrade which I gather you have to pay for. If Wi-Fi is critical to you, I'd suggest you call and ask what the options are. We take a HotSpot with us so we're not having to rely on the less secure networks at hotels. And here's the "dirt" about the place: The furniture is a bit beat-on, so don't be surprised by scratches and dings or missing trim pieces. We rearranged the sofa/sleeper to watch TV and found that the carpet underneath had not been vacuumed recently. As well, the sofa was terribly uncomfortable to sit on for more than about 10 minutes. The additional locking mechanism on the door to the room was broken (see pic). In all, it's definitely not the Hilton but the price reflects that. Having several years of experience in the hospitality industry, I'd rate this place as a 5/10.

They kept their promise. Was polite and when needed something they always made sure I had it. Great stay!!! Would recommend them for anyone who stays away from home and need somewhere with a full kitchen.

I have stayed here for a little over 17 weeks and it is by far the best extended stay that I have stayed at. The staff has made this place feel like home. It has a full kitchen which is nice. The room and common areas are very clean. I would recommend this to anyone needing to stay in this area.
