Fairfield Inn & Suites Harrisburg West

It is a quite and nice place!

We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool and the pool ended up being closed for seasonal maintenance and that was not dis loser on the site. They also have windows that open on the 2nd floor and there screen is barely secured on and someone can fall out. We traveled with 2 Autisic children (ages 2 &3) so that was very dangerous. Would not stay there again

Our stay was great. We don’t “vacation” and hadn’t been on a family vacation since 2016. Needed to not feel like I made a bad decision in choosing this hotel and I didn’t. Clean, safe and affordable. Staff were so nice as were some of the other guests in the elevator. Liked how close we were to downtown Harrisburg without being in a crowded area.

The hotel was adequate for what we needed. It was quiet and clean and the service was good. I would recommend for a weekend or overnight stay

Stayed at this hotel due to reviews and on their website they listed a pool and spa. When we checked in there was a sign stating pool and spa were down for annual maintenance. Also, under amenities it listed Free parking when I checked out, I noticed I was charged for overnight parking. The staff at the front desk were unhelpful. I was going to stay for 2 days, left after the first day. Also in the bathroom, we found mouse droppings. The room we stayed in faced the highway, heard tractor trailers all night long. Never again at this Hotel!

Room wreaked of cat urine. The roll out couch is a TWIN!!!!! We are a party of 6. No cots available at this location. Shower head that’s supposed to be “accessibility friendly” didn’t even work! Tissue box empty when we entered. Would never go back.

Contrary to the horrible reviews which almost made me cancel, my stay was nothing but pleasant. The hotel was clean and bright, my room and bathroom were spotless. Although the motel rests near the highway, my room on the 3rd floor in the front was quiet for sleeping. The hotel was pretty full and I had neighbors, but I heard no one and slept great. The pool and hot tub were functioning and looked and smelled clean (I didn't use) and the did serve a real breakfast (eggs and sausage) which was ok...typical Fairfield. I ate on the patio outdoors. No oatmeal or muffins. The front desk gentleman was very welcoming and gave advice for dinner. (2 restaurants within 3 minutes). I was there for one night and found it to be up to Marriott, Fairfield standards.
