"First off, the location is super convenient – right across the street from Chiayi Train Station. It's also within walking distance to Cultural Road Night Market. If you're heading somewhere a bit further, almost all public transportation departs from Chiayi Station, and the bus stop is right downstairs."

GGuest UserThis hotel is really close to Wenhua Night Market, just a 3-minute walk away. They also offer convenient parking. The room size was quite spacious for two adults and one child. It was very clean with no musty smell. The bed was a little on the soft side. There's a water dispenser right outside the room, which was super convenient for making formula for our child. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Wenhua Night Market!

GGuest UserThe service attitude was excellent; they were very proactive in helping with everything. Parking was a bit tricky right at the hotel entrance, so we had to use their partner parking lot, which wasn't too far. The hotel itself is pretty standard, not luxurious, and the facilities are a bit dated, but it was still clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the soundproofing between floors wasn't great. Kids running and jumping upstairs sounded like an earthquake all night, and we could also hear noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast was a buffet with limited options, pretty much standard fare, but they did have some local specialties like chicken rice and Danzai noodles. Overall, for the price, it was decent value for money, especially if you can overlook the noise issues I mentioned.

GGuest UserA well-known family-friendly hotel, here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
1. We booked a triple room, and it was very spacious, as was the bathroom which included a bathtub.
2. The afternoon tea waffles were delicious.
3. The rooftop play area offering vinegar drinks and snacks was a nice touch.
4. Free washing machines are available, but laundry detergent needs to be purchased from the front desk for 10 NTD per packet.
Cons:
1. Afternoon tea only runs until 6 PM.
2. Breakfast had very limited options and lacked any unique or standout dishes.
3. Parking spaces are scarce, and the contracted parking lot nearby was small and difficult to navigate.
4. It's not located in a busy area, so dining options are limited.
5. There's no designated smoking area, so people smoke directly at the main entrance, which completely contradicts the idea of a family-friendly hotel.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and soundproofed really well. This was our first stop in Taiwan, and it left a fantastic first impression! It's great value for money, and the front desk service was excellent; they didn't treat me any differently just because I'm from mainland China. The location is perfect, right near the night market, which is super convenient. I had some food waste from eating out and nowhere to throw it away, and the staff even helped me dispose of it. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I'd definitely stay here! I checked my photos and realized I didn't take any of the room, just a picture of the table when I was eating in the lobby, haha.

GGuest UserThis Thai-style hotel is truly amazing; it felt like I was instantly transported to Chiang Mai. Especially loved the elephant folded from a bath towel on the bed! Although the hotel itself doesn't have its own parking, there are plenty of parking options nearby. The front desk lady was very patient in explaining the locations and walking distances, which showed great care and respect. If I get the chance to visit Chiayi again, I'd definitely try other room styles!

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and they offer complimentary snacks and ice cream available throughout the day, which was a nice touch.
The location is fantastic - within walking distance to the night market and surrounded by great shopping options nearby. Very convenient for exploring and finding things to do.

人人生不過吃喝玩樂The room was clean, but the soundproofing was terrible. Kids upstairs were jumping around non-stop for a long time, making it as noisy as a construction site. I asked the front desk to talk to them, but it didn't help. They were still jumping at midnight. This is a family-friendly hotel, so I'd advise guests who need peace and quiet to avoid booking here.
Check-in was at 3:30 PM, and they wouldn't let me check in early even though I arrived before then; I had to wait until exactly 3:30 PM.

가가성비트레블러The hotel was within walking distance from Chiayi train station, though the walk wasn't the smoothest, causing my luggage to bump quite a bit. It was easy to find, being a white building directly visible from the street. The room was very spacious, and the bed was large, comfortable, and clean. However, the window was a floor-to-ceiling type that opened diagonally and had an opaque white film, which made me wonder about privacy, despite its intention. It was early March and quite cold. Even with the air conditioning off, it was still chilly, so I imagine it would be even colder in the middle of winter. The reception staff weren't unfriendly, but most didn't smile, except for one person. English communication over the phone was difficult, but there were no issues communicating in person using a translator. I just think the staff uniforms could be updated with a more modern design. Hot water in the bathroom took a while to come on, but the drainage was good, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. The breakfast restaurant served what seemed like ********* home-style food; it was clean, and the staff constantly checked to ensure there was enough food. I'd give the cleanliness full marks.
