Courtyard Fargo

Courtyard Fargo Marriott was a clean and new hotel. The room we had was very nice and had all the amenities needed. The only drawback was the price. It was a bit spendy for over $200 for one night.

Small room, Small refrigerator, no microwave, expensive for what you get. I had a great night sleep, but in the morning, I went down to the desk to get a hotcup of coffee. I didn’t see any complementary coffee in the lobby. When I asked the man at the desk about that, he pointed to the Starbucks in the lobby and said “we sell coffee over there.” I said “I’ve never been to a Hotel that did not serve complimentary coffee.” He said that This agreement, was part of their Starbucks contract. And that the population that their business plan was modeled for were people traveling for work and who had their bosses paying for their coffee. Well, I replied I’ll remember that the next time I’m choosing a hotel.“ I won’t be choosing this one again. It’s not that I couldn’t afford my coffee at Starbucks. It’s that this hotel was not designed for me.

Very clean hotel. Great location. This hotel is lucky to have Misty Blue. She is the reason I gave Courtyard by Marriott 5 stars. She everything you want from the front desk. She has a great personality that made me feel very welcomed and accommodating. This is my go to hotel in Fargo.

This is a newer hotel next to the medical center and just off the interstate. The only two criticisms we have are that there is no reason for the significantly higher price as compared to other chain hotels in this location and the way the room is configured we heard (loud and clear) every toilet flush in the rooms above and below and adjacent.

The rooms were nice and clean and the lobby was a nice space for a group to hang out in

We had a great experience at this hotel! We were here for a week for a hockey tournament and the amenities at the hotel were great with plenty of room in lobby and a large gym, a nice pool. A great restaurant with great food. The service was exceptional! Misty Blue ATT he front desk was wonderful!

Very nice facility and rooms but bar and bistro stated they closed at 10 which seems exceptionally early for a Friday night (for the bar anyway) and we were told at 9:30 upon checkin they were already closed :(

Property was good. Gym was good. Bar was supposed to close at 10pm but was closed at 9:30pm when we arrived.

I do not recommend staying here. I tried to request extra towels and I was berated by the general manager, Emily. It was a simple request and she made it seem like an impossible task. Emily is a worthless, lazy boss and knows nothing about how to accommodate guests staying. It was clear that she has no respect for her team and is making everyone’s lives worse. The rooms were poorly cleaned, and I didn’t see a housekeeper the entire time of my stay. I wish I could say it’s because it’s hard to find employment but I can’t imagine anyone in their right mind would want to work here after dealing with Emily.
