The stay was a new experience for my daughters(16,20, 23) and I. We usually stay at a chain hotel and this stay was like no other we have had in Fargo, ND. The room was not just a room with two queen beds but a place with art and comfort. Artwork on the wall, little couch and desk and huge TV were there also. The beds were SO comfortable! We all felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The staff were very helpful and friendly and usually around. Liked the free cocktails tickets for the bar. Free happy hour was nice. Good coffee in the morning! The breakfast is just a snack but was appreciative of gluten free cookies put out for 3/4 of us needing gluten free food. Towels were nice, modern bathroom, loved the rain shower! The built in drawers for clothes were super nice. There was a rooftop with a bar but was closed for winter but would have been cool to just go up and look at city lights.

Great hotel in downtown Fargo. The bed was incredible. Lot’s of nice features and staff was very friendly and attentive. The location is convenient to lots of shops and restaurants. Valet parking at $15 is a wonderful option. We will stay here the next time we are in Fargo.

Things we liked: The hotel itself was very nice. We were in room 15 with nice views on 2 sides of Fargo. The room was spacious and clean. There were bathrobes and slippers for our use, a sitting area, desk area and a little refrigerator. The roof top bar is very nice in the evenings and the Irish pub on the main level is fun. The hotel is centrally located. Things we didn’t like: no coffee maker in the room. In the morning you had to go to the reception area to get some. They also had pastries there. Nothing special about the pastries. The noise: there was a constant hum in the room. I couldn’t find the source. I tried closing the closet doors but it didn’t seem to help. There was a lot of street noise in our room. With the turn down service, foam ear plugs are provided which tells me the hotel knows this is an issue. Maybe some better glass windows would solve the problem. Idk. We spoke with the hotel staff about this and they were willing to change our room but the change would not have addressed the issue. There was also a small dog next to us that was a bit yappy. The bed: the bed was very comfortable but the pillows were waaay too soft. We used the decorative pillows under the bed pillows for more support. Bathroom: nice amenities with the usually towels, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Small corner shower with a rain feature. Not a fan of those so I used the hand held shower head. I’m glad there was a choice. Parking: there is a valet service for a fee. We chose to park in the street for free. Be aware of the parking signs so you don’t get a ticket or have your vehicle towed. For our next visit, we will choose a different hotel.

In a few words, we loved our stay here. Only 17 rooms, but each is unique and tastefully done. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The friendliness and service were outstanding. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate. The upstairs patio bar and restaurant downstairs are added benefits. The location in downtown Fargo is fantastic.

The boutique hotel has 17 rooms and is a pricier than other hotels in the area. What you’re paying for are nice touches for your stay: Each room is themed around a different artist’s work with a bio in the hotel directory, there’s a happy hour with a nice selection of beer/wine with snacks and a turn down service with truffles, lowered lights/shades and a local artists cd playing to welcome you back into your room. The rooms themselves are well appointed with a seating area, plenty of storage, a good shower and a wine fridge with several items for purchase and space to store some of your own items. We used this to store some water and some we’d purchased on our own. The mattress was very soft which may be good or bad for guests. We generally use the stairs and there wasn’t a single door with the words “stairs” listed on them. Getting up/down using the stairs from the entry meant walking by the check in area each time to connect to an internal set of stairs which was sort of odd. The rooftop patio and bar was always an enjoyable last stop in our day before turning in. We weren’t expecting to spend much time there but ended up going almost every day of our stay.

Lovely, one of a kind, boutique hotel. What a treat for a night in Fargo on a hot summer night! Rooms are incredible with beautiful, local art in every room. ( be sure to read the summary of art in your room.) It was like staying in a beautiful home. Lovely 5 pm wine & snacks where we met some very fun travelers! The rooftop bar was lovely. Easy walking downtown to some nice shops & live music outside the Jasper Hotel. Dinner at the Blarney Stone was yummy but have to say the first person to wait on us knew so much more than the second so it’s difficult to say without trying the restaurant again…seems like it’s a great bar for football weekends! For a summer night the rooftop made up for any flaws downstairs! Oh and the comfy beds were a dream.
