Booked a stay almost a year in advance and cancelled 4 months before stay. Hotel still charged me $990.00 anyway. Have email confirmation and still was denied a refund.

We always book this hotel for our annual hiking adventure. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Close to Elephant Rocks, Johnstown’s Shut-ins, Taum Sauk, Washington State Park, St. Joe State Park, & St. Francois State Park.

we had a wedding sat. stayed friday so all the kids could swim. pool was not working needed a part we had 4 rooms booked we would have stayed somewhere else with working pool. manger was rude when I ask for a bit of compensation. said it was for a wedding not swimming we would have just stayed sat. or found another hotel with working pool, spend money on friday for nothing. The manager was rude about it. i would like some kind of comp.

The pool is NOT heated-the room that the pool is in is heated to 82 degrees. They hope that’s enough to heat the pool.Lol They do not have microwaves in the rooms. They do not offer decaf at breakfast but you can it in the room IF they restock the supplies. To be honest we chose this hotel because of the indoor heated pool so I could enjoy it with my grandchildren. Big Let Down!

Due to the laminate floor I slipped while wearing socks and suffered a cut to my forehead from hitting the nightstand when I fell plus a cut on my leg that required 13 stitches at the ER. The hotel staff were most gracious and concerned. The house cleaning staff cleaned up a bloody mess before I returned from the ER. I rate the hotel staff A+!
