Baymont? Farmington Hotel? SureStay? Something is not right. The room was fine. Big. Good Bed and pillows. This was NOT like Baymont Inns that I have stayed at. "Cash Payments for Rent Not Accepted" was one sign on the door. Pretty sure they have weekly rentals or maybe homeless housing here. Also suspect that the cleaning crew was made up of weekly rental or homeless housed folks. The whole deal seemed off. Makes me suspect of the Baymont by Wyndham company now.

I checked in with my partner on 3/29/24 after booking 2 nights at Baymont Inn and Suites by Wyndham in Farmington, MO, they told me that I didn't need to pay a deposit because I did not live within 15 miles of the area so they waivered the fee and I ended up staying nearly the entire 2 days and decided around 9 a.m. before checkout at 11 a.m. that I would like to stay another night. They then proceeded to try and charge me $100 for a deposit despite the waiver then tried to charge $80 instead as $100 was not agreed upon after a period of them telling me this and that and changing up the agreements I told them I wanted to leave. He then withheld My I.D. that I was using to check out and told me I wouldn't get it back until he checked the room afterwards when I got my I.D. Back he told me that if I was not satisfied, I was not welcome. the staff was rude, the room was dirty, and overall they made a mistake and tried to overcharge.

There are many things to like about the hotel. The rooms are clean and recently updated. The beds are very comfortable and the shower was excellent. All the employees were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately there are things to be aware of, too. The exercise room is minimal, consisting of a single treadmill, stationary bike, and weight machine. The breakfast seems to get set out once at 6:30am, then it's first-come-first-serve until it's gone or completely dried out. The wifi is worthless.
If all you need to do is sleep and go, you're golden.
