An absolute gem in Faro! Our stay at A da Avó Guest House was perfect from start to finish. The place was spotless — the cleanliness was truly immaculate. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully air-conditioned, which was a lifesaver in the summer heat. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Can’t wait to return — highly recommended!

Worst introduction to a new country and hotel ever. This hotel does not care about the people who stay, they just want the money. I won't go into details but truely awful.

El alojamiento está muy bien. Nuestra habitación pequeña pero limpia y cómoda. Ofrecen un desayuno rico de forma gratuita y traen pan recién hecho y pastelitos típicos portugueses. Lo único que nos disgustó un poco fue que el último día nos desapareció toda la comida que teníamos en la nevera.

We only stayed overnight but it was a lovely place. The bed was confirmed, the bathroom good. The coffee maker and fridge very appreiated. We loved the breakfast too.

It’s a guesthouse where you share the bathroom and the dining room. The bathroom is practicable and fulfill the function. The breakfast selection is simple but enough and we liked the self baked Pastéis the nata.
If you search for an accommodation for a good price we can recommend it.

The guest house was lovely and very peaceful. Lovely room, beautiful breakfast room and helpful staff. Place was very clean too.
