Wonderful relaxed guest house with fantastic garden and pool area. Limes, lemons, banana and papaya all thriving. Breakfast ideal with good selection to suit most tastes.

Wow. When we arrived in a back street, we thought, ummm! We rang the bell and Jean Paul, the owner opened the doors to paradise. We have been in many fancy hotels around Europe, Palma, Rome, Sorrento, Capri but never experienced such tranquility and everything was just perfect. The atmosphere, the pool area was heaven, with only 9 rooms we only saw one other couple around the pool area. Our room which was a superior was tastefully decorated and the bed was high quality. No cheap mattresses here. Value at present is off scale, we were hesitant to write a review, as we wanted to keep this our little secret getaway. We had the pleasure of meeting Jean Paul’s sister, who helps out. The staff were amazing, the breakfast which is bookable so you don’t all 18 of you turn up in mass 😂. Continental breakfast but I just went for the freshly cooked eggs which you can have anyway, on fresh artisan toast. We like a lay in and went down at 10.15. The location is bang in the centre really. Short walk to marina 3 minutes and Old Town which you have to visit is 5 minutes away. Restaurants and bars 1 minute away. Our first visit to Faro albeit we go to QDL or VDL twice a year. This will be our regular visit. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Elegance, quality, and service — these are the words that come to mind when we describe our experience at this beautiful guest house. The location is perfect - near the historical center, fabulous restaurants, and publict transportation. The building has been carefully remodeled; the furninishings are elegant; and the backyard beautifully landscaped. Breakfast was superb - only the best ingredients and brands. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Faro. Our room at Casa Apollo was beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was delicious & Jean- Paul was a perfect host; genuine and helpful when needed. Casa Apollo is ideally situated for the harbour, train & bus station , as well as the shops, restaurants & Old Town.

Great location near near to city centre and marina. Lovely guest house with exceptional tropical courtyard garden. Tasty and fresh breakfasts. At the time of our stay there was quite a lot of building work going on near to the hotel, which to be fair didn't really effect us, but could be an irritation to some.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Apollo. Jean Paul and his staff were exceptional hosts. Friendly atmosphere. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast fresh and of excellent quality. We enjoyed the pool as well. Would gladly stay again!!

Wonderful spot to relax and very close to everything for exploring including the Faro train station. The only thing is the owner acts like paying guest are an inconvenience and anytime you ask for anything he is quite irritated.

Fantastic find. We had a short break in Faro and booked directly with Casa Apollo and we were not disappointed. The building has been lovinly restored to offer clean, modern, contemporary accommodation. We stayed in the Pineapple suite as a triple, which was lovely. The decor is quirky and loved the theme and decor. In a prime location, not noisy and within easy walking distance to all attractions and places to eat. The breakfast is self service, continental style with the option of cooked eggs all served on the rear terrace. There is a beautiful garden and small pool area, which is a real sun trap and Jean Paul will even bring you drinks. We had a wonderful break - thank you!
