Hotels near Largo de São Francisco, Faro

I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is just a 4-5 minute walk from the bus stop. It's also within walking distance of Faro's old town, the beach, and the churches. We booked a hotel apartment. The living room was large with a sofa, and the open kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher. We bought plenty of groceries at a nearby market and cooked ourselves a delicious dinner. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a quiet night. The central air conditioning was especially nice in winter. If I ever come back to Faro, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Pousada Palácio de Estoi is a beautiful hotel, elegant in every corner, very quiet, and with ample parking. I stayed for two nights, and while the first night was wonderful, the second evening at dinner was disappointing. The restaurant service felt rather cold, and there was a mix up where someone had made a 7 p.m reservation under our names without informing us. Things worsened when my fish soup contained a small piece of plastic, which I showed to the restaurant manager, unfortunately, that ended my meal. Not to mention the delay in food, 75 minutes sitting in the restaurant, I have only had the plastic containing soup. Despite this, the hotel itself is charming and well located, with some aspects of service done right. With some attention to communication and restaurant service, it could easily be a five star experience. Not quite there yet in my humble opinion.

Lovely hotel. Front desk staff was really good. Lady in bar has very bad attitude and gives poor service. I ordered food to my room paid an extra €5 for it to be taken to my room and her attitude was really bad. Breakfast I missed as no gluten free option and no dairy alternatives. Room wasn’t the cleanest as there was flies in the room. Bathroom was clean.

I have to say the A/C need to be sorting out. On a hot day/night the air conditioning is not good enough. No Google pay available for payments in the hotel. I like this place because it is close to the airport. Walking distance to it.

The hotel was very clean, staff very welcoming and allowed us to check in way before time. It’s close to the airport as well as a big shopping centre so everything is in close proximity. The staff cleaned my room every day I was there and we had light and food when the whole Portugal had power outage. Will definitely recommend

Hotel Aeromor is a really convenient hotel located on the FARO beach ***** . A 6 minute taxi ride from the airport in a very beauitful location. The check in experience was very pleasant and straight forward and the service was great. The hotel do offer breakfast at a additional cost but you will not be disappointed . The breakfast is a buffet breakfast and I enjoyed it very much as everything was delicious. We booked a room with a lovely sea view .. The room was very clean , the bed very comfortable and bathroom although very basic did the job. You get a nice kettle and snack bits and it was really kond how they gave us a whole fruit bowl to devour . The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly great and I love how they laid out the bathroom extras neatly . Our room came with a balcony and it did not disappont. Lovely views and it is really quiet at night. On the last night we had some typical loud British tourist next door who really didn't take into account that people we're trying to sleep but the hotel staff sorted them put soon enough and told them to be quiet . There is a resturant downstairs for lunch and dinner and love music which is there for you to enjoy. The hotel is across the road from the beach

Had a great time here! So close to the airport and for as cheap as it was, it felt like a steal. The place itself felt like a small university accommodation with a hallway and rooms branching off of it. Nice kitchen and nice living room. Appreciated the little booklet that was left with all the relevant information, however the recommendations as to where to eat are slightly outdated with about half of the places listed being closed. Cleanliness was knocked down a mark due to me finding some stain on one of the outer bed sheets but that didn't bother me too much. Did the job and that's all you can ask for!
