A bit outdated and scruffy in carpark, needs a good cleanup, wouldn't stay again out of choice, A bit sad really, but staff attentive.

Good clean and tidy rooms. Very helpful , friendly and polite staff. Well presented hotel. Good location to stay for Colchester and surrounding areas. Lots of food outlets if your not going out to chose from within walking distance Will certainly stay again.

We used this hotel as a base as we had a wedding in the area. The hotel is situated along the A12 and was clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. This is not a luxury stay, nor is it meant to be. But it does what it is supposed to do really well. Recommended.

Very welcome the staff was happy cheerful. Charlotte was fantastic! Close to a12 and quiet. Next door to burger king also and petrol station. Cleaner Cara was also very kind. The room was clean and I would be happy to stay again. Highly recommend

Quiet and comfortable. No restaurant but just eat delivery took only 25 minutes. Needed some work printing and the receptionist, Charlotte, printed my work out for me without question. She was very kind and helpful. Would stay again. Free parking as well!!

Clean, basic, functional accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even though it’s right by the dual carriage way you couldn’t hear the traffic at night. Value for money. Primarily stayed as they accepted dogs. Greggs, Burger King, petrol station and Subway there too.

Stayed here for two nights to attend a local wedding, place was clean and got a decent sleep. Staff friendly and helpful. The outside looks a bit run down it could do with updating , maybe a nice new sign :) place is easy to find and convenient for a Burger King and Greggs! Ha ha

Staff very welcoming and pleasant but the overall condition of the property and room was disappointing. Mould in corner of the room, carpet under single bed was very dusty, draught coming through window (why we moved single bed away and found dirty carpet). Unfortunately the window also did not muffle the sound of the traffic from the very busy road.
