Reception at 2pm only via the safe. No information that the restaurant is closed. You have to climb over the bed to get to the heating valve. The TV can only be turned on using the device itself, not the remote control. You have to let the water run for what feels like five minutes before it gets warm. That was the poorest breakfast I've had in many years. I won't be booking here again.

A place to spend the night, do not expect a personal approach or further explanation. Room and bathroom are clean. The bathroom is small. You miss the finishing touch.

Our stay was ok, but getting a wi-fi code took quite a while because there was no one at the front desk for a long time.

Although there is no one at the desk (usually, from what I could understand) during check-in time, we still had a pleasant stay. Two guys were drinking beer at the entrance, and since they had checked in earlier, they helped us “check-in” by opening the lock box which had our key. There was a phone number to call for help - but it is expensive using a phone from the US.
The following morning, the clerk brought out all the food for breakfast as she had just finished putting it away. She was so nice, it made our stay go from 2 stars to 4 stars. The breakfast is a simple German breakfast but was included in our room rate.
Note that I did not see an elevator and all rooms are upstairs!
Had a fabulous meal a few blocks away at Schmitte.
