"The location is right next to the Ancient Town, which is perfect for walking there and also convenient for getting a taxi directly to the hotel—especially with luggage, so there’s no need to carry or walk it through the Ancient Town. The cleanliness of the room was superb. The staff, especially Tian, were super helpful at all times; they helped us book a taxi to the train station and assisted with our luggage (there is no elevator). The view is also incredible."

"The room was super clean, and the view from the location was beautiful. The owner's service was even better, going above and beyond to help with every little detail. We forgot the parking pass (which the owner provides for free parking) when picking up our car from the parking lot, and it was raining outside. The owner didn't hesitate, just hopped on a bike and brought the card to us. Big thumbs up to such a helpful owner! Genuinely impressed!"

The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. "The scenic area is in the central area and very convenient. The store clerks are friendly and approachable. The staff helped me to get my luggage from the scenic area entrance and climb the stairs to the room. Be mentally prepared. It’s not easy."

"Firstly, we booked a street side room, but I saw the room with a balcony over the river and it is well-worth the upgrade!! Highly recommend splurging for the river view. The owner/manager was great, spoke English, and was very helpful. He met us where the taxi dropped us and assisted with carrying our luggage. He did the same when we left, which was much appreciated. If you book pretty much any of the hotels along the river, you will need to walk a bit and it might be a bit difficult. One thing to be mindful of is that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the vicinity. That’s just part of the experience being along the river. The hotel provides a plug in device for mosquitoes and once you turn on the a/c, the mosquitoes tend to go away. Still, you may want to bring some bug spray. There were a couple other types of bugs around, but overall not too unpleasant. Again, nothing much any of the river-side inns can do about it. We stayed for just one night so even though the room is small, we managed ok. Overall, we highly recommend this inn, but go for the riverside view with balcony. It’s beautiful and you will be able to take very cute photos there."

"Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and scenery was nice. The staff even let us choose the room we want after taking a look at the scenery. Location wise, it is at the most corner of the city, but the city is small and is only around 1km plus away from the city center, so make it nice to take a stroll down the river to the city center. Staff even offer to pick us up after the walk."

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great—slightly away from the main tourist areas, so it’s peaceful and less crowded, yet still very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food and essentials. The hotel faces the river, offering a nice view, and you don’t have to drag your luggage over any rocky paths—the car can drive right up to the entrance, which is a big plus. We stayed in the rooftop room on the 4th floor. While there’s no elevator, the staff were very helpful and carried our luggage up during check-in and back down when we checked out. The owner and staff were all friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable."

"Our hotel stay was in a suite with a spacious balcony offering a stunning view of Hong Bridge (虹桥, Hóngqiáo) in Fenghuang. At night, the bridge was beautifully illuminated, creating a breathtaking scene. The hotel owner, Ah Ming, provided excellent service, always taking great care of us. He helped carry our luggage and even offered a shuttle service to and from the train station. The heating system, including the room heater, worked perfectly, ensuring a warm and comfortable stay. Ah Ming was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist and provide useful information throughout our stay. This hotel truly offers one of the most spectacular views—an absolutely unforgettable experience!"

"We stayed for one night, and the staff were really nice, even though they didn’t speak English. We communicated easily through WeChat. The location was perfect, and the view from the room was impressive — it made this one of my favorite days. The room was pretty clean and had everything we needed. While there wasn’t a fridge in the room, we were able to store a few things in the main fridge downstairs. For the price we paid, the room was really nice. Overall, we were very happy with this one-night stay and would definitely recommend it over other places."

"The location is excellent, very close to the performance venue, and the riverside views are absolutely stunning. The owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond: she drove us to the bus station to catch a taxi and even helped us with our luggage in the rain. A huge thank you to her! The scenery was so beautiful that I couldn't resist extending my stay for another day."
