Fengning Hotels with Breakfast

I stayed in this place for two nights off season (at the beginning of April 2023) for a hiking weekend. The price was very fair (159 RMB per night) for a room with two beds and private bathroom, without meals. The restaurant was not open yet but the lady of the house offered to buy me breakfast and did drive me to a nearby restaurant for dinner (supermarket and restaurants are around the corner, 5-10min walking). The room was spacious and superclean with modern facilities and a reliable internet connection. The floor heating is helpful during still colder days and nights. The surrounding hilly landscape and rural countryside with endless meadows, fields, tiny villages, farmers, and an abundance of sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys, pigs, birds, and other farm animals is beautiful for hiking and horse riding, also outside the main season.

Facilities: The facilities are complete, the lobby is very beautiful, there are many overturned boats, the bed in the room is very comfortable, there is air conditioning, there is a bathtub, and the area is very large. 🌹🌹 Service: The front desk is warm and polite, the check-in process is very smooth, and the restaurant is recommended (really delicious, I will eat it next time), and I am given a bag of snacks and yogurt. The scenery in the grassland is very good. The sky is very blue. There is also a reservoir near the tent. After reading reviews online, booked this hotel. From Guyuan back to Beijing, this hotel is just on the edge of the national highway. The location is very good. You don't need to enter Fengning County. At the same time, there is a free parking lot. What I want to like most is the chef’s craftsmanship in the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, because the hotel is not in the county seat, and we don’t want to drive out to eat. We just had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. The grilled lamb chops are really fragrant and crispy. No mutton; onion-flavored loofah soup is also the first try, the soup is thick and glutinous! It’s just that the hotel’s breakfast is nothing special and quite satisfactory, because the kitchen is not on the first floor. The noodles and won stew are made with an induction cooker, but for me, breakfast has hot milk and coffee, whole grains and fried eggs. There is a hot spring on the first floor of the hotel, so I didn't go to soak. The hotel and rooms are stylishly decorated, clean, tidy, and spacious, and they also delivered fruit plates. The toilet is separated from wet and dry, and the towels are clean! The rain stopped when we arrived, and the rainbow on the horizon was very beautiful. Parking is very convenient, and the security guards are very diligent in directing the parking. The room is very big, which is a regular hotel. When I asked if there was a refrigerator in the room, the front desk immediately arranged for the staff to deliver the small refrigerator to the room. It was really meticulous. I had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. The taste was very good. It was of the standard of a big hotel. The waiter was afraid that I would get my skirt dirty, so he brought me an apron, which was very considerate. The buffet breakfast is still very carefully prepared for our few guests, and it is still at the level of a big hotel. There are many shops around the hotel, and there is also a large supermarket, which is very convenient for shopping. This hotel is the best choice for staying in Fengning.

I went to live there because I really like the colorful forest. I was so happy. As a result, there was a group of people in the room next to me who seemed to be in a riot. They started making noise at 12 o'clock, yelling and yelling, and clanging bells as they came in and out. I went to the front desk to find no one on duty, and there were several entrances and exits on the first floor. They were all open, but no one was on duty, and safety was not guaranteed at all. The group of people kept making noise until after 4 o'clock, when they finally became quiet, and they didn't sleep all night. The decoration of the room is acceptable for the local area, but the soundproofing of the walls and doors is very poor. I mainly stayed there for the convenience of visiting scenic spots.

It seems that every room has a terrace. This is one of the reasons why I chose to stay at that time. The view is wide. There is a bonfire party at night and fireworks can be set off. In front of the town is a large sea of flowers, very beautiful!

The room was clean, the triple family room, the bed was particularly comfortable, the toiletries were good, the sprinkler was uneven. Breakfast is not bad. It is very convenient to walk to the food street to eat and watch fireworks for 8 minutes and 470 meters. In the evening, there is a performance in the food street 8.30 and fireworks are set off at 22 o'clock. There is a fireworks seller opposite the parking lot where the food street is at the end. You can buy it yourself and put it on. There is a professional venue for fireworks. Wuma Paradise is very fun.
