The Addison on Amelia

We chose The Addison on Amelia for our intimate ceremony with a few family and friends. Everything was perfect! The entire property has beautifully maintained grounds, peaceful sounds of water fountains, cheerful colors, and clean throughout. The rooms are individually furnished with a variety of amenities, our room had tow heads in the shower (my sister's room had the largest jetted tub I have ever seen). Lisa, Ron, and their entire staff are so friendly, detail oriented, and demonstrate joy with every interaction. They vary healthy and delicious breakfasts everyday, with tea, coffee, and juices (the selection of Two Leaves Tea is the best!). The Addison is located in historic Fernandina Beach, FL, and is short walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the marina. We felt well cared for during our stay!

This is our third stay at the Addison, this time with our dog. The accommodations, breakfast and happy hour could not be better (although after enjoying Main Beach all day we often missed happy hour!). Lisa and Ron are great hosts, always on- site and happy to assist. The proximity to town makes for an easy walk to dinner with so many great restaurants and pubs to choose from - all dog friendly. The Addison is our favorite place to stay on Amelia Island - each room is different and charming. We will be back!

Our room was wonderful, spacious, great bathroom with spa like atmosphere . Ron and Lisa are great hosts. Our room looked out on the courtyard, we had comfortable chairs to sit outside. Parking right in the driveway, never need to get in your car again. Walk into town in just a few blocks.

Lisa and Ron are Fantastic - and local favorites. When asked where we were staying ? The response from locals was always "we love Lisa and Ron". The Breakfast is very well done and Impressive dishes prepared . I had a dietary restriction they accommodated very well. Room was quiet , bed was comfortable. Great Location , everything you could want for an easy weekend on foot.

Seventeen of us celebrated our 57th high school reunion at the beautiful Addison on Amelia Island earlier this month. The wonderful hosts, Lisa and Ron, accommodated every one of our needs. The buildings, rooms, and gathering areas were cheerful and perfect for relaxing and spending lovely times together. All was clean and updated, and our bathrooms were outfitted with a myriad of the best of products. The location was perfect--we never moved our cars! We highly recommend this great Bed and Breakfast!

This is a wonderful location with such charm in the area neighborhoods - the houses are so pretty. You can walk to dinner quite readily and to the waterfront. The Atlantic is 2 miles away with plenty of parking and beautiful surf. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a deck off of the space where we had our morning coffee and evening beverages. There is a lovely interior courtyard with fountain and seating on the porch. Ron and Lisa were very fine hosts - there when you need them and not when you don't! Parking is free, easy and plentiful, despite the recent move to charge for parking on some of the streets, including Ash.

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays at The Addison. We absolutely loved our weekend away there. The space is beautiful, and close to down town shops and restaurants. The Inn is gorgeous, cozy, and a great place to relax. Lise and Ron were wonderful hosts! They made an amazing home made breakfast every morning, and the happy hour was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Their black lab Sandy was an added bonus who loved to join us on the patio. We will definitely be back again!.

Our visit was absolutely superb!! We spent 3 days & 2 nights there in Fernandina Beach & at the Addison! Lisa & Ron are great! Everything was beautiful with great communication & attention to detail! We enjoyed walking to our restaurants along with walking to the Marina. Throw in a day of bike riding to Fort Clinch, sightseeing and shark tooth hunting on the beach at the state park. Breakfasts; yum!!! We look forward to coming back and staying at The Addison on Amelia Island!! Did I mention we already booked our next visit!!
