Lots of things wrong: Do you want to host a family member/friend for a day? 20 euros each for ages 3 and up Don't want to do the cleaning at the end of your holiday? You pay 50 euros Do you want to come back after 11pm? You must park far from your accommodation Do you want an umbrella and sunbeds by the pool? 10 euros for an umbrella and 5 euros for a sunbed per day Terrible restaurant: very bad pizza. I paid 18 euros for a plate of spaghetti with clams already shelled. I think that's enough

You would think that you can't go wrong at a 4-star campsite like the Laguna Blu. But that's not the case: the fun starts at two o'clock sharp in the morning - for others, the Touch on The Beach discotheque really gets going. Apparently, almost nothing can wake me up, but I'm happy to admit: I was proven wrong. At first you cover your ears, but that's a helpless gesture because the noise goes right through you. Earplugs? Oh, how sweet. Yes, you get inventive: put on headphones and distract yourself with podcasts, wander around the campsite at night and skip stones across the water of the lagoon, call the Carabinieri and shine in broken Italian. In the end, you bury your head under the pillow again, the piercing bass is like cardiac massage, a feeling of helplessness and anger rises. Anger in every direction, but especially at yourself for not having done enough research when choosing your holiday destination. Isn't that exactly what you want on holiday? Six o'clock in the morning, peace and quiet returns. It's cool, finally sleep. Shortly before midday you wake up: it's hot, the nights are still in your limbs, you have a headache, everything is going slowly. How about a trip? Experience the beauty of Sardinia? No, better not today. And be careful: your nerves are frayed and patience is precious. One wrong word and one unnecessary argument can ruin the night after the day.

At a 4-star campsite like Camping Village Laguna Blu in Sardinia, you would think you can't go wrong. Far from it, you can. At first glance, everything seems wonderful: the beach is within walking distance, a nature reserve - a lagoon - borders the area, Alghero is not far, comfortable bungalows, an attractive pool area, a fitness room, a restaurant, a supermarket... everything is there, which promises a relaxing holiday. Really? The fun begins at exactly 2 a.m. – for others: the Touch on The Beach discotheque really turns things up. Although it is a full 900 meters away, thanks to the adjacent lagoon the sound is transmitted almost without loss. Apparently almost nothing can wake me up, but I'm happy to admit: I've been taught otherwise. At first you cover your ears, but it's like a helpless gesture because the noise goes through your bones. Ear plugs? Oh, how sweet. Yes, you get inventive: put on headphones and distract yourself with podcasts, wander around the campsite at night and skip f lat stones across the water of the lagoon, call the carabinieri and shine in broken Italian. In the end you bury your head under the pillow again, the piercing bass feels like chest compressions, a feeling of powerlessness arises and finally anger. Anger in every direction, but especially anger at yourself for not having done enough research when choosing your vacation spot. Isn't that exactly what you want on vacation? At around six in the morning, calm returns. It's cool, finally sleep. You wake up shortly before noon: it's hot, you're still stuck in your limbs from the sleepless nights, you have a headache during breakfast, everything is progressing slowly. How about a trip? Experience the beauty of Sardinia? No, better not today. And be careful: your nerves are on edge and patience is precious. One wrong word and an unnecessary quarrel might ruin also the day after the night. In short: sleep is not everything, but without sleep everything is nothing. It's true: Baia Holiday - the operator of the Camping Village Laguna Blu - can't help the unspeakable noise that comes from the nearby discotheque Touch on The Beach. However, the quality of a service provider is nowhere more evident than in the question of how problems are dealt with. This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff. When we asked to speak to the campsite manager about our problem, the reception staff assured us that he would get in touch as soon as possible. He was never seen. The - quite well-intentioned - help-yourself instruction to call the carabinieri at night came from one of the night guards. It was from this that we found out where the noise was coming from and - more importantly - that it wouldn't stop. So we contacted Baia Holiday directly by phone, asking them to either accommodate us at one of the group's other two campsites in Sardinia, or at least to reimburse us pro rata for the remaining nights. The reply via email took two whole days - or should I say nights - to arrive

Impeccable quality of the campsite...however in terms of additional taxes it is unacceptable. 6€/day for an additional motorbike for a parking issue (we were 2 couples on a motorbike...difficult to be 4 on the same motorbike, especially since 2 motorbikes parked side by side take up less space than one a car.) In short, impossible discussion with the staff, who apply the campsite rule: 1 accommodation, 1 vehicle. 1€/day/person tourist tax 2.80€/day/person environmental tax. In the end, we still have to add around 30 to 40% of the total cost of the stay... Too bad... It's a business campsite, we won't be returning there.

We are in a camper. It's always good. Very large campsite. Super water park, gorgeous beach, never crowded. The sea is not the blue sea that you can find a little further north, it is a little further south but it is so comfortable that for us it is always a guarantee. Very good restaurant. Clean toilets and showers. Supermarkets with all of Alghero reachable by bike and always worth a visit. Super animation. Thanks to Meri, wonderful.

Bins overflowing in low season is not great - shower rooms very small and not very practical. The setting on the lagoon is otherwise very nice, and the proximity to Alghero (not necessarily walking but a short drive) makes this a worthy option for a stay. Clear plus point - surprisingly good pizza. Also a very reasonably priced camp site.

I haven't left yet and the communication is already not working....I book one of the most beautiful bungalows with Eden. Today I call the campsite to get clarification on some things that were not explained to me and who knows why there is always a surprise...20 euros each for bathroom towels, 13 for doubles, 11 for singles, 8 euros for air conditioning per day more they also tell me that if I had booked with them everything would have been explained better... to add insult to injury, I'm stupid to book with Eden... let's hope for the best... if the good morning starts in the morning

The expectation of a well-paid village in Sardinia is to have a splendid sea. But the reality is the presence of algae and slime on the beach they own. To have truly beautiful waters, you necessarily have to move away. The chosen house had no tables or supports inside, making lunch or dinner difficult in case of bad weather, as happened to us. The animation is definitely too unmotivated and engaging, I would say banal for both adults and children. The cuisine is sufficient but expensive for the product served. Credit goes to the swimming pool (but we don't come to Sardinia for this), to the singer/entertainer of the restaurant and to the girl at the reception both on entry and exit, courteous and fast. The rest doesn't justify the price.

As far as I'm concerned, the opinion regarding this place is influenced by two factors in particular: 1- the aspiration of being a camping village or one that somehow combines the experience of a campsite with that of a holiday village; 2-the sea. The place where the camping village is located is naturalistically very pretty, being located between the lagoon and the sea. The sea in front of the campsite with the equipped beach is unfortunately most of the time unsatisfactory from an aesthetic point of view, with algae and slime. The solution is to take the bus that takes you to other nearby beaches (even just 5 minutes away) or walk 15-20 minutes to find a beautiful sea. The accommodations are spacious (we opted for a "blue romantic" bungalow), and the swimming pool is fantastic, especially for those with children. Soft animation is great, especially to entertain children (only note, same programming of shows for two weeks in a row, this shouldn't happen). For adults there is little or nothing, in particular little possibility of doing sports. The service that gave us the most headaches was the catering, even though we had full board, where we suffered a bit from the lack of flexibility and often lack of attention from the staff, with respect to basic requests or needs. This experience was ultimately compensated by Pietro's (the catering manager) ability to recover by guaranteeing a different listening ability and meeting us. Overall, the quality/price ratio seemed a little unbalanced towards the price.
