A lovely sleepy hotel that is unusual as the rooms are scattered around and not the usual upward stack of rooms making this hotel very homely. The staff are second to none they couldn't do enough to make your trip a totally enjoyable stress free experience. The food was amazing and you are a short walk to the beach plus the hotel has a pool. This is a quite family hotel set on the stunning island if Elba. We had a great holiday highly recommended

Visited in July, 2022, and we were thoroughly delighted: fabulous people and fabulous place. Montemerlo is very kid-friendly, ultra-clean rooms, excellent staff, and breakfast is off-the-scale. The one supper during our stay was good. We received a very refined response to a rare complaint of a particularly noisy neighbour. The response to our reserved taxi not arriving was extraordinary and creative, and got us to the ferry just in time. Montemerlo is a pleasing walk to one of the loveliest beaches on Elba. Renting a car on Elba can be an adventure, but the bus (station is very near the ferry dock) stops near the hotel. Highly recommended.

Faccio veramente fatica a trovare qualcosa di cui lamentarmi.Stanze essenziali ma pulitissime e dotate di ogni confort.Super prima colazione con vasta scelta tra dolce e salato, ottime le torte fatte in casa.Cena con piatti molto curati,possibilità di scegliere tra pesce e carne.Esterni molto ben tenuti con piante tipiche della macchia mediterranea. Strategica anche la posizione dell'hotel ,vicino ad una delle spiagge più belle dell'isola "Fetovaia".Vivamente consigliato

L’hotel si è dimostrato al di sopra delle previsioni. Sita in una zona molto tranquilla, la struttura è ben organizzata e varia, composta da più edifici e più soluzioni di alloggio. Quello che più ha fatto piacere è la pulizia e la gentilezza e cortesia del personale, davvero impeccabile. Ottima la cucina e le cene. La distanza dalla spiaggia di Fetovaia è giusta per una passeggiata. Anche la spiaggia è ben organizzata e servita, con servizio spiaggia, bar e ristorante convenzionati con l’hotel. Veramente consigliato; un angolo di pace in un paradiso.

Hotel Montemerlo... come sentirsi in farmacia durante una vacanza da sogno! Camere pulite, ben tenute e arredate. Cucina top, pesce a volontà e di ottima qualità; dolci super, in particolare la crostata con frutta fresca! Personale gentile, professionale, disponibile a risolvere ogni esigenza, cordiale e ti accoglie nella loro grande e bella famiglia! Struttura curata, molto verde, pulita, con piscina, a pochi minuti dalla splendida baia di spiaggia bianca di Fetovaia. In sintesi... consigliatissimo!!! Grazie a tutto lo staff dell'Hotel Montemerlo per la splendida vacanza!

Albergo consigliatissimo! Titolari e personale sempre cordiali e disponibili, cucina ottima e di qualità con parecchi piatti fatti in casa in particolare i dolci. Zona molto tranquilla immersa in un giardino molto curato e ricco di piante e fiori. Passeggiata di 10 minuti per arrivare in una delle spiagge piu bella dell’Elba. Un mini paradiso.

Ormai è una tappa annuale fissa. Ho sempre trovato questo albergo sopra lo standard. Personale e titolari sempre attenti e pronti a soddisfare le mie esigenze. Giardino molto curato. Una piscina sempre disponibile con lettini per prendere il sole e idromassaggio. Cucina degna di ristoranti ricercati. Posto macchina all’ombra. Pulizia camere meticolosa. 10 minuti a piedi dal mare con possibilità di prezzi agevolati su ombrellone e lettini. Che dire di più? All’Elba se ne trovano pochi così.

La struttura appare nelle immagini molto migliore rispetto alla realtà: la piscina è piccola, i parcheggi non sono comodi e soprattutto la scortesia dei commensali nell’agevolare i clienti è abbastanza rilevante (cena dalle 20:00 anche per chi ha bimbi piccoli, per spostarti in un altro tavolo devi fare in autonomia, non vengono mai dati scontrini o ticket per le bevande che vengono chieste come extra). Tutto ad un prezzo importante.
