Clean hotel with friendly staff but very dated. It really needs a refresh. Bathroom still has a bathtub, which makes it difficult for older people to enter the bath. Breakfast is quite expensive. 14 euros/person?? Difficulty parking. In front of the beach and that’s good, but it’s not enough…

The hotel is well located but to get to the beach you have to walk about 900 m. The room is very clean and comfortable and the bed is very good. The bathroom is also spacious. Very dated hotel. Very old decoration. Old and chipped furniture. TV is also from the last century. Room service leaves a lot to be desired, four in the afternoon and the room unmade. You come from eating and you find that they haven't made the room. The city views are views of the hotel's machinery yard. You have to close the window (there is no terrace) at night because the noise is unbearable. The bathroom socket doesn't work so you have to dry your hair and shave in the room. Breakfast is rather limited and there is no toaster, they take the bread to the kitchen and they toast it for you inside. There is also no parking as advertised on some pages. The reception service also does not try very hard to understand you. Conclusion: it has at least two stars left over. I will not come back.

I love this Mercure hotel in Figueira da Foz. Nice rooms with sea views, good variety breakfast. Beautiful and immense beach, ideal for long walks, good restaurants in the surroundings. I'm sure we will return. greetings.
