Love the team, Victoria and Jupiter namely. But some of the staff at the restaurant even remembered I liked sparkling water and I only stayed for 4 nights mid April.
Love the island. The view is good everywhere, even the gym. Its huge in comparison to some other resorts and you get to bike around, or you can request a buggy ride. Overall, very reasonable price, stayed HB and already gained weight, cannot imagine FB. Villa is HUGE, AC was always cold, always kept clean, always had clean towels, and they provide bug repellent, do use it. The deck was lovely and had a sun umbrella, I miss sunbathing there with an ice coffee. I did scratch my toes going for a dip during low tide cause I was too lazy to wear my water shoes. The gym was big, had clean cold towels and drinks and equipment was new. I don't know what more to ask for. Maybe more fish? but you can go on those snorkeling excursions, we went on the dolphin excursion and saw both spinner and bottlehead dolphins. They have a blue hole nearby, do learn to free dive before attempting to enter, I regret not learning to free dive properly cause it's not something you can learn quickly, no one but the guide in our group could get in.
Just book Amilla. I did island hop to another resort, and I was disappointed in everything but their coral reef. Do your research but I'm pretty sure the other resort's service cannot beat Amilla.
They are worth every penny.

Great accomodation,our roomingboy was very caring and creative. We loved the picture on the bed. Many thanks at Rajar. Also at our Hajar. The sea, the villa and pool, snorkeling, varied and delicious diner - we enjoyed all. The sustainability is impressive

Das Hotel Amilla ist wirklich das Paradies. Es lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir verbrachten 2 wunderschöne Wochen als Familie in der family beach pool villa mit einem privaten Strand und direktem Zugang zum wunderschönen Hausriff. Die villa ist sehr gross und perfekt sauber. Das Essen ist in allen Restaurants hervorragend und das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Sport haben wir jeden Tag gemacht, sei es im wunderschön gelegenen Fitnessraum oder auf dem Tennis respektive Fussballplatz. Auch unser Buttler Nappe war rund um die Uhr für uns da und ermöglichte alles für uns. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die ganze Insel! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

1- Excellent top notch staff w/ great service & attitude - General Manager is very hands on and involved. 2- Maldivian-owned - great to be giving back to the community. 3- Competes with the world's best hotels - it truly is 5 stars. 4- its a natural island - not dredged like many others - so wildlife is vibrant. 5- excellent value for money. 6- HUGE rooms with TWO A/Cs (very important for me) 7- Excellent food with multiple options. 8- HUGE island so you almost always feel like you are alone (except for breakfast) 9- ALWAYS going the extra mile for you with special surprises (i dont want to spoilt it for you) 10- CONVENIENT - direct 40min flight from Male with seaplane. super easy.

Perfect holiday in paradise. Great to relax there after visiting Sri Lanka. This was our second trip to Amilla and it doesn’t disappoint. A week of luxury, great food, spa, football camp for the boys and great activities on the water too (snorkelling, fishing, dolphins). All wonderful. And looked after by incredible staff - particular thanks to Nappe and Mauman for making our trip so memorable.
