Sonnenbichl Hotel am Rotfischbach

Also gleich mal vorne weg, mit Comfort hatte unser Zimmer nicht viel zu tun. Die Bilder im Webauftritt scheinen ganz nett bearbeitet zu sein. Das Badezimmer war so eng, dass man beim vorbeugen hinten an der Wand und vorne am Alibert angestoßen ist. 70er Jahre Charme und etwas dunkel. Die Anwendungen waren super, allerdings standen sie doppelt auf der Rechnung. Frühstück ist ordentlich, ebenso die von uns gebuchte Halbpension. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und ich würde sagen gehobene Mittelklasse. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ok, wobei derPreis doch etwas zu hoch erscheint.

We didn't read any reviews before booking over the phone. We firmly believed that we were booking in a four-star hotel and nothing could go wrong. When we booked, we were suggested a comfort room, which we then booked. When we moved into the room, we were very disappointed. It was not a comfort room, small, dark and the balcony looked out onto a backyard with an adjacent hill. Showering was only possible in an old, deep and damaged bathtub with a shower curtain. After a quarter of an hour, the TV only emitted distorted sounds. In short, this was far from four-star standard. Unfortunately, we did not find any friendly staff in the restaurant. All of the restaurant staff spoke very poor German, so a longer conversation was not possible. Due to the Corona rules, you had to follow a certain walking direction in the restaurant area. This meant that you had to walk through the entire restaurant, from there into a kind of winter garden (which was also part of the restaurant), walk through it and then end up outside the hotel. Then enter the hotel via the entrance area and then join the queue in front of the restaurant. The queue was formed because the buffet was set up in the restaurant entrance area. Why am I writing this in such detail: If you sat down in the restaurant and just wanted to go to the toilet or your room for a short time, you had to get back in the queue in front of the buffet. On the 3rd evening I wanted to get something from my room, got up from the restaurant table and after 2/3 of the way (I was still in the restaurant) I realized that about 15 people were waiting in front of the entrance area. I turned around to get to my table and a restaurant employee pointed out to me in a very harsh tone that I had to walk in the prescribed order and stick to it. He personally "escorted" me out of the restaurant area. Summary: After I got through the queue in front of the restaurant area, my wife and I broke off dinner and ended our stay at the hotel early the next morning. Be careful: we were blinded by the website.

Bad im Hotel sollte erneuert werden, nicht jeder bekommt eine WellnessBehandlung, kein Fitnessstudio, es liegen keine Flyer für Aktivitäten aus und Rezeption kann da auch nicht weiterhelfen. Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen

Räume und Fluro alt und muffig. Aussicht toll. Personal sehr freundlich. Buffet Abends Kantinenniveau. A la Card gegessen. War aber kein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. 215€ für eine Nacht inkl. Frühstück ist selbst in der Hauptsaison nicht gerechtfertigt. Keine gute Alternative für einen Zwischenstopp.

4 Sterne ? Nur für den Preis - Ansonstrn von mir knappe 3…. Ambiente des Zimmers und insbesondere des Bads für 240 Euronen/Nacht (!) gefühlte 70er bis 80er, Essen (an unserem Abend nur Buffet) bestenfalls ok ohne Höhen und Tiefen - aber: um 20:00 wurden wir genötigt das letzte mal ans Büffet zu gehen während nebenan schon abgeräumt und das Frühstücksservice gerichtet wurde - Absolutes No-Go 2 Sterne weil es sauber war 0 Sterne für Preis/Leistung
