Best Hotels in Fitzroy, New Zealand

The hotel is comfortable, the parking is convenient, the bed is super comfortable, and the TV also has Netflix for watching👍🏻👍🏻A small drawback may be that the water in the bathroom is either too cold or too hot, which is a bit difficult to control! But I will still choose this place next time I travel!

Basically it is a luxury type, the room is very large, the geographical environment is good, a few minutes to go to the supermarket, Tianhao directly see the Taranaki Mountain. Pushing open the window is the internal pool, and the bar is extremely rich. The typical kiwi of the old lady at the front desk was warm and friendly, and the next day check-out also gave free luggage storage.

This hotel is in a good location, just 10 minutes to the town countdown and 20 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel facilities are relatively simple, the front desk said that my original order was not found, and said that the cancellation, but fortunately I printed the order, or it would be troublesome, and finally found it!

When we arrived, it was close to 10 o'clock in the evening, so I was really afraid that there would be problems in the stay - but in fact there is a British lady waiting for us! When we arrived, we received us very kindly, and we warmly told us where we can eat at night. The next morning we saw the proprietress, the Chinese lady, and the kindness is not to be said. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, and the equipment is very complete! If you come later, I will still choose to stay here!

Large room, very clean and well equipped, air con, fridge, microwave, well situated in the town and easy parking. Pleasant staff, would go again. Only drawback was no milk for drinks but we didn't really need it! Difficult to find a nice bar but eventually found Good Home with rooftop bar!

Lovely motel, clean, tidy and comfortable. We went to NP for the Light Festival, the motel is just across the road, about a five minute walk to the festival (saving the scramble for parking). The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was a good size for 2 ageing adults. Courteous and friendly staff, can warmly recommend.

We had a perfect stay at The State Hotel during a one night stopover in New Plymouth. Online bookings indicated there were no rooms available but on phoning the hotel the Manager, Luke, shuffled things around and squeezed us in. We loved the old world yet contemporary charm of the hotel. The rooms were beautifully appointed, clean and wonderful comfortable beds. Situated in the centre of New Plymouth it was a great spot to be. We took advantage of the gym and Luke bent over backwards to help us - pointing us in the direction of a great local brewery for a casual dinner and a delicious vegan cafe a few doors along from the hotel for breakfast. He was so friendly and helpful, can't thank him enough. Highly recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at D and D. It is very near the CBD in a quite street with good parking on the road. The place has a large lounge, a sun/day room snd a large dining room...all are really tidy and comfortable. The kitchen area is well stocked with everything you need. My bed was very comfortable and my room looked out on the courtyard area. Brett pooked after me really well...bought my bags from my car to my room with a smile as I was on crutches. A vety good place to stay in New Plymouth.
